(4:34) "Men are in charge of women, as Allah has made one of them superior to the other, and because men spend their wealth for the women; so virtuous women are the reverent ones, guarding behind their husbands the way Allah has decreed guarding; and the women from whom you fear disobedience, (at first) advise them and (then) do not cohabit with them, and (lastly) beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek to do injustice to them; indeed Allah is Supreme, Great" . In Hadeeth Shareef too ,

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards. The ruler is a guardian and responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian and responsible for his family; the woman is a guardian and is responsible for her husbands house and his offspring; and so all of you are guardians and are responsible for your wards."

Sadly some men misuse the rights and the responsibility which Allah gave them, and illtreat women . This doesn't mean that we go against Islam and follow another cultures. Their are rules put on women dressing, work and socializing in Islam. Many of those fiminists don't follow which makes traditional and religios women go against them.😊

First of all are you sure what you understood is what the Quraan stated? There is a lot of symbolism that’s used in the Holy books...When you question something, you have to be mindful of the fact that you are not questioning the Book but the understanding of humans of that Book...

Second, Allah didn’t create anybody less or more than anybody else...That’s why these women have the right to fight for their rights ...And again, be mindful that these women are not asking for their rights from Allah but from their fellow human beings....I repeat, they are doing so because they believe in Allah!

So when the men abuse the rights what are the women supposed to do? Asking for their rights or fighting for it is following the other cultures? How?

@Stardust , and @CF . Thanks a lot for replying. 😊 I just wanted to explain it to ppl who were surprised ..why are many ppl in Pakistan go against this march. I don't want to argue with anyone. I am not a schooler , but I learned the rules of my religion from many schoolers, I know it is very difficult for non muslims to accept . But for most of muslims Islam isnt just a religion, it is a lifestyle. It is respected and followed by millions. Women are respected and have many rights in it. But they are ordered to be obident to their spouses in order to keep the family unity, to keep children under the same roof. You can't have 2 captaines for one ship. If so you'll get fights and this is why divorces are much more in westren countries. 🤓

I am not supporting violence against women. I don't think that many muslims nowadays present true Islam..that's why we see women get beaten. 😒

That’s why you and those who have a problem with the march have to understand that the fight is against these inhuman humans who refuse to live and let live....Why bring religion into it?

This Khalil guy should be the last person to comment on women and their rights ... And this Marvi lady is as bad as him

Yes women are not treated equally ... But i dont think the Women March will actually help the cause and help those women in need and i feel most of these celebs are commenting on this to get their 2 min fame

Pakistan is an Islamic country ...and the idea about Women going on march out in the open to demand their rights is not islamic ...

Instead of crying about the march ...why not go and actually help those women...spread knowledge about what rights Islam has given them ...put good mind set into action rather then going on news for 2 min fame
