See I think this show can end it one of two ways.

First, Maya kills MJ, but is severely injured herself and dies. Whether this is in Rudra's arms or not, I don't know, but she will die and he will live.

Second, MJ tries to kill Maya, but Rudra gets killed and then Maya also dies from her injuries. This leads MJ to go mad because he killed his son with his own hands.

I understand your point and asking why should Rudra die, but Rudra's death would be necessary in one ending because the whole point is to punish MJ and for Maya killing MJ either literally or symbolically is important. If MJ were to kill his own son, then that would be a symbolic death because the very person that MJ was trying to protect died by his own hands.

My whole thinking revolves around the perspective that there is no happy ending for Maya either. Whatever her reasons for revenge, killing an innocent boy is not forgivable and I don't think CVs want to pass along the message that Maya lived happily ever after and murder is okay during revenge.

There is, however, a third possibility that I've been exploring. That is that Maya dies by Rudra's hand accidentally in a fight, Rudra realizes what he's done and what MJ has done and kills MJ, and then he goes off into parts unknown to live out the rest of his life.

My problem is that no matter which of these routes CVs take, Rudra is worse off. Whether it's that he dies or whether it's that he becomes a walking dead body, Rudra symbolically dies in either case.

I saw Maya differently (Though I am not ok with the crimes against her. And justice should be given) the moment she cave in and had an affair with a married man. She is just like any typical woman who doesn't have their head on their shoulder. But I agree, she is at fault for having an affair. There's no excuse.

I am not under any such impression, I am not talking about real life, I do not expect an airplane crash or a car accident or any kind of unplanned death for Maya, MJ or Rudra, I am talking about this show only which is written by a team of writers and IF they show Maya killing MJ it will be because he DESERVED to die for what all he has done to her in past, I said that they should not kill Rudra in the end as he is an innocent and deserves a happy life.

I totally agree with you ? Why should maya die ? It’s a war between 2 people . It’s MJ who started the war and Rishi died because of his fathers sins. I think she should be alive even if Rudra does not accept her in the end . We have one life. She can do social service for battered woman and adopt a girl .

In my opinion both Maya and Rudra should not die . In fact MJ also should not die . Birth and death are decided when u were born by God. We have one life. Law is there to punish people who made mistakes . I think in the end Maya should surrender her self to law for abetting suicide. MJ needs life imprisonment .

That way even Maya’s unborn child shouldn’t have died as it was innocent, Maya’s mom shouldn’t have ended up in the mental asylum as she was innocent, her father and brother shouldn’t have died either as they were innocent, Myra shouldn’t have died either since she was innocent too but they she still died. Whether Rudra is innocent or not , if he is to die he will die. And no even in fictional stories people don’t live or die because they deserve to or live on because they are innocent, there is no requirement to keep a character alive just because they are innocent or they deserve to live a happy life ahead. If the cvs want to kill Rudra they can do it at the end, same way if they want to kill Maya and keep MJ alive they can, or if they can even bring Rishi back to life. If the story demands a character’s death to engage a viewer with the story that is exactly what the cvs will do whether you like it or hate it.
