Talk about a shitty, shitty timing bro. Can't even postpone with a few days to go. The movie will definitely take an initial wave of financial hit from the virus scare as it's the first one to release since the scare quadrupled this week through the media. It reminds me of this scene from GoT lol.

Baaghi 3 Advance Report

Baaghi 3 has a decent advance and it is pretty much on the lines as the last Baaghi franchise film Baaghi 2. Not only are the collections on a similar line but where they are coming from are pretty similar as well. Baaghi 2 had an advance in the 7 crore nett range and it remains to be seen where Baaghi 3 finishes with the most important final day left.

The advance collections of Baaghi 3 and Baaghi 2 will be the same but there will be a difference in tickets sold as Baaghi 3 is likely to sell 25% less tickets than Baaghi 2 but as ticket rates are higher the collections will go a similar level.

A good result would have been if the film could have reached the tickets sold of the last film but the difference is coming on the Friday as Baaghi 2 was Good Friday and for Baaghi 3 it is a normal Friday. The results for Saturday and Sunday are very similar in terms of tickets sold.

The franchise is one of those on the day ones as it is mass audiences that come for the film. Baaghi 1 had no advance but did a near 12 crore nett day while Baaghi 2 had a good advance but no way did that advance suggest a 25 crore nett first day collection. It will be the same story here as current rather than advance will determine where the first day will go. It is the best advance of the year but that is not much of a target as no film has had an even decent advance.

Despite the virus, Baaghi 3 will score double digit opening solely on Tiger’s name. This is truly remarkable. We have a new young superstar.
