Yeah she definitely likes him in the sense that she's probably used to his presence and he's like 'home' to her. Plus Varun has quite an endearing personality. They probably ghapagap'ed a few times but then Varun is serious about Natasha only.

Eeks don’t compare alia’s with deepu...deepu darling bashed her lover publicly yet calls him “fav” at every given opportunity...which shows her eternal crush and love.....on other hand Alia and Varun looks comfortable with each other and they have a great chemistry....if having comfortable with each other is eternal crush then I have numerous crushes since I am comfortable with many in real...😆

Alia herself has indirectly confessed on Koffee with Karan that at one point her and Varun got very very close (too close) and then they drifted apart. Maybe Varun took Alia as a friend (with benefits at some point maybe?!) and she really had feelings for him. IDK.
