The End For Female Centric Films?

So many have flopped badly such as

- Ek Larki Ko Dekha

- Zoya Factor

- Sand Ki Ankh

- Chhpaak

- Panga

- Thappad

Everyone should strive to make good films

All those movies failed mostly because they were not well made. A movie on social message doesn't necessarily need to be boring too, the case with ELKD and Chappak. Also, narration has to be the strongest in such movies. All these movies lacked in that aspect.

Movies like Mardani, Queen, EV though female centric worked because they were well made and acting was top notch.

What shit. Thappad has just released and without watching how can u say its badly made. Its one of the best movies thats come on screen after a long time.

why only women centric..almost all movies have flopped so far this year baring a tanaji..even those which were not female centric have like LAK and Street dancer..

it all boils down to content eventually..a poor content movie whether female centric or not will fail..

all the movies mentioned had mixed reviews..they were mostly poor content..baring thappad..which is getting mostly positive reviews..and it is too soon to call it a flop as yet

there are quite a few men in this forum trying to show their glee at this movie "flopping"...

the fact that so many men got triggered and showed how insecure they are because of a simple movie where a woman says its not okay to be slapped (OMG would even file for divorce because she doesnt wanna put up with his misogyny) makes it a success in my eyes..

they should make more movies to annoy these toxic bros...

They are a flop because these movies are all being made on made up and fictional issues...May be someone should try making a movie on the real burning issue of increasing death rates of men....This is after all 2021!

Don;t agree. Panga, ELKDTAL were well-made films. Yet they flopped.

It's easy to say if a film flops, it's not well-made. I don't agree with that logic.

ELKDTL was ripped apart for the poor acting of its lead..how can we call it a well made movie when the acting by the lead actress was below par and failed to ignite any emotion whatsoever..
