They just give awards to whatever sells. Personally feel Shahid deserved the award for KS, RS was good but not as good as Shahid. Shahid portrayed KS so well, he really got into the character and you felt you were watching an actual person not an actor. Cant say same for RS.

Alia winning is debatable but I dont recall and other actress who could have won?

Ananya - if she got it for soty 2 then I guess it was fair. If she got it for PPAW then nah others did a better job in their second movie.
