As for peeps saying no to likes of Kapil show...y not...? those guys are very talented and good at what they do....kapil has done a couple of movies....Sunil Grover who was once associated with the show has gone on to do many movies.....sumona has done tv shows as a result...so it’s a good platform to gain the recognition needed to then tap into other ventures.

If they have only done rehearsals for the award show .. then the finale will be this weekend which will come on tv later .. because it doesn’t make sense to practice 1 month before .. and the rehearsals are done max 3-4 days before finale

Unless they gave already recorded their event and will screen it on tv

Ill share another of my frustrations. Interviewers, in their effort to make their interviews entertaining, don't focus on the real questions. Sid is such a closed off person, we never get to see what he is thinking. Yes, actions we can interpret but we never get to know the 'why' behind them. I wish someone could ask him the following things which have intrigued me since a long time.

1 - Does he use the reverse psychology tactic consciously? And why does he do it? Time and again he says, "Main hoon hi ganda!". Or when he will intentionally irritate someone and then follow it up with that wonderful statement of his, "Tumhare lagne pe dunya nahi chalti!" He sets up a false / reverse image and enjoys when people fall for it.

2 - Why does he demand clarity in relationships and life? Doesn't this place a lot of pressure on people who are in his inner circle? I have been thinking about this since he said it. Life is never black and white, and I'm sure he knows that too. But why does he have such a huge expectation from people close to him. Despite the fact he offers it, demanding it in return is very difficult to keep up with. I also think this is perhaps the biggest reason behind the rejections he has faced.

3 - How much does the need of his profession i.e.sociability / public image interfere with his personal image / inner life? I often feel that his public persona and self image are in conflict with each other. There is quite a bit of dissonance between the two. That is why he stated that I wanted people to see the real me.

Its annoying that the interviews are still about redundant things like fights with Asim, relationship with Rashmi, his one liners / dialogues etc. The real Sid is complex and no one asks about that.
