I think they are saying Mahira paid that Premal guy to get a certificate and he is a fraud.

But Premal is giving certificate since two years. At that time why they didn't object.

And if mahira knew the certificate is fake, she is not stupid to put it on instagram.

Anyways, you can be right too. I don't know the truth. We can only speculate. I disliked her a lot in BB but I think she should not be judged for her behaviour in the show .

Many ppl have commented on sm that it serves right and Mahira is getting karma for troubling Sana & Rashami.

And why Dadasaheb Phalke awards did not question other actors. Tell Premal to reveal the names of all actors to whom he has handed over certificate, and tell them to apologise.

Will the award committee do that? Nope. Why should a 22 year old silly , airheaded girl take the brunt of a huge scam going on since two years?

She is irritating and has attitude. She ain't likeable but that doesn't mean we blame her for fraud when she herself is a victim of the entire scam.

It's so clear that the Dada Saheb official account doesn't want to accept that it's their fault. Their own coordinator is printing fake certificates since two years and handing it over to actors.

Now suddenly Mahira is asked to apologise? For what? For receiving a fake certificate? How would she know it's fake !!

And look at their recent post! It clearly looks like personal vendetta against her!

yes I saw this online and found it ridiculous lol , it’s so obvious they messed up by hiring frauds still they demand an apology because she recieved the award!

Sneha there are 2 issues at play here. Not one.

The first is Mahira Sharma and her fake award. She posted an award that she supposedly received and the award officials were trolled. They probably have been trolled before but this was at a whole different level and thus they investigated and found that Mahira posted a fake award. They sent her a letter asking for the award to be taken down and an apology issued. They aren't threatening or bullying her. I'm sure that as a writer you are well aware of copyright laws. What Mahira did is copyright infringement and she could be sued for it and the award officials would win hands down. So asking for an apology isn't a lot.

And why are you suggesting that Mahira is innocent? That Premal didn't give Mahira the award out of the goodness of his heart. He didn't go oh poor girl she wanted an award and didn't get one so let me give her one. She outright bought the award. And we can argue and debate all we want that others buy awards, but even if they do I doubt any of them are stupid enough to accept it backstage. If SRK bought the Filmfare Award for Most Romantic Pose (which doesn't exist), then he would ensure that he got it onstage in front of the world or at least in front of the audience. I'm sure he and any sane person would have raised a hubaloo if they was given the award backstage and told to leave. Also if Mahira had really suspected something then she should have said something earlier without prompting. She very casually accepted the award and posted it about everywhere, but the moment she's accused of fraud, she comes up with an excuse and tries to put the blame on the award officials.

Now because of her a second issue has come to light. Premal has been doing this for 2 years. However, this is a separate issue that requires investigation. Premal accepted this publicly. Why? The award officials and even police need to get involved to first of all find out why he accepted it like that and then who was given the fake award. After that whether those people apologize or the award officials just issue a broadcast is up to them.

I am not saying you are wrong. Nor I am a fan of Mahira to support her. I honestly don't even like her.

It's just that somehow I feel all this is a misunderstanding and Mahira is innocent.

Ya, it's ridiculous. If she tried to buy paid award and paid Premal to give her certificate, I really hope strict action is taken against her.

But I don't know why but I feel she is a victim here. I mean , just imagine you go to an award ceremony , are given certificate , you post it on insta out of excitement and next day you are accused of forgery !

Suppose you are invited to an award ceremony and someone hands over a certificate to you, you post it on instagram and next day the award organisers say that it's fake. How's that YOUR fault?

Well, in her so called clarification post, she mentioned that she was informed before hand that she would be given an award for so and so category. Any person would atleast google that particular award/category even out of curiosity to find out who won these awards in the past.

I mean come on. It is THE Dada Saheb Phalke Award. Why on earth would there be a category for the "most fashionable contestant of BB13"? Common sense anyone?
