Things don't sound very legit from her end. Plus even if organizers awarded her off the stage, they would still have her listed amongst the winners! .... Why would the organizers ruin their credibility going after her if they knew it's a legit award?!

Let's even assume it's a middle man who scammed her. Even then onus is her to apologize for displaying a fake award even after organizers reached out to her!

There's definitely more of a masla on her end as far as I can see!

She has provided proof, See, I don't like her at all in BB but here she is being targeted for something which is not her fault.

The official account of the award has accepted that Premal who issues certificate to Mahira is their own coordinator but they didn't know that there is a scam going on since two years where this Premal would issue fake certificates to the actors.

I mean...prestigious DPIFF awards. They themselves don't know about a scam that has been happening since last 2yrs! And now they are asking mahira to apologise for receiving a forged award from their own coordinators!?

Suppose tomorrow I am invited to an award ceremony and given certificate and then later come to know it's fake, how's that my fault? And why will I apologise?

Exactly! For all my dislike towards her, it's shameful that she is being bullied to apologise!

It's so clear that the Dada Saheb official account doesn't want to accept that it's their fault. Their own coordinator is printing fake certificates since two years and handing it over to actors.

Now suddenly Mahira is asked to apologise? For what? For receiving a fake certificate? How would she know it's fake !!

And look at their recent post! It clearly looks like personal vendetta against her!

She is airheaded and thinks she is most beautiful girl in this planet.

She is just a stupid young girl who thinks she is beautiful. She is definitely silly but she didn't forge any certificate. She was given the certificate . How would she know it's fake?

When the award organizers first contacted her privately, she could have easily explained this same thing to them and then asked what should I do next? She would have come out of it looking like the bigger person.

But instead she chose to ignore the letter. She probably thought someone would save her like Paras had continuously done in BB.

Now, even after the award organizers posted the letter, she could still have posted an apology both for missing the private letter and for this mistake. She could have easily said that she would work with the award organizers and resolve this matter. Still not too bad for her image.

But instead she has chosen to squarely blame the organizers themselves. Her instagram reply basically says "I'm right and they are using my popularity to get into the limelight" which isn't true.

She may or may not have forged the certificate. She may or may not be innocent in this entire fiasco. She may or may not have been scammed. But right now, thanks to the way she has handled this, she is coming across looking as a liar, cheat, and fraud.

Definitely she didn't handle it properly. For all we know, she might be shocked hearing false allegations

See the Dadasaheb Phalke account themselves said that Premal (who issued fake certificate to Mahira) was their coordinator and was making fake certificates since two years and they just came to know now.

Then why are they blaming mahira for a scam that has beem going around for two years. So all other actors who received forged certificate from this Premal should apologise?

Okay as per the DPIFF statement, it is the Premal guy is at fault and he has been doing that for two damn years.

But why is that guy giving awards to Mahira anyway? Buying awards or attending events in exchange for an award is a common practice. So my guess is that Mahira tried to buy an award, the middle-person duped her giving her a fake one, and hence this mess.

I dislike her as well. But I wasn't blindly hating on her over my POV! I was looking for logic as to why an organizer will deliberately target her for it!

I am not aware of the scam if it has been verified. But will take your word for it!

Even then I feel she should have been open to the communication when they reached out to her (-which I read they did). Now if she doesn't respond Ofc they'll take it public if organizers aren't aware of the scam that's going on!

If there's a scam going on, organizers are also a victim right?! They should get the benefit of doubt too. Both parties seem to be victim of the scam then!

If she had communicated with them directly, it wouldn't have reached till this stage!

Feel both are trying to get some publicity out of this!

As for bullying, well those who themselves are bullies don't evoke any sense of sympathy from me! So will let Mahira take care of her karma! :)

Why are they hell bent on getting a apology note from Mahira? When they themselves have accepted that Premal who is their coordinator is doing scam since two years of issuing fake certificate

I dont really get this....agar unke coordinater ne mahira ke saath cheating ki hai toh why will she apologize. She was called on an award show and she was given the prize.....now when she posted the prize....award team started insulting her......and started asking for apology.....agar woh apologize karti tab toh it would have been like ki haan maine forge kiya ....sorry.....par usne nahi kiya hain. Their own person has done that.....toh usse naukri se nikalo....mahira se apology toh in awards waalo ko khud maangni chahiye for defaming her like this. It must have been so embarrassing for her to deal with all this. Joh team ab closely check kar rahi hain.....usne pehle kyun nahi kya before releasing statements and targeting a celebrity like that.
