I don’t know if it happens in your family but mine belongs to the category who will blissfully remain BLIND to the deeds of their raja bete and all the nonsense is reserved for the girl

I used to tell my bro Papa ki pari when he was a kid as everyone used to pamper him.

But then when I stopped helping him and doing his work he himself got independent. n as he grown up my dad too got tough on him.. so now he has grown in an independent young lad . he still misses me as now he had got all the work to do which I used to do earlier.. going to the banks n pay the bills etc..😆

I’m tall as well as thin!!! So the constant “don’t wear heels” and “beta kuch nahin khaati” is still infuriating.

@bold: Hahahaha! I want to know her reaction to this?!?!

PS: random info but I’m anemic as well and those meds mess up with my metabolism,

Not much. I personally never had to endure because of my parents. My dad has always clarified to me that---- this world discriminates women and you have to fight through that. It won't change, so it's better to jump over the hurdles than banging your head on the wall.

But yah I have seen it in other people ruining their own sons' and daughters' mentality.

But most are cool (specially my maternal side fam). Some were conservative before but now they have outgrown it being influenced by their offspring. par ek do logon ke kabhi kuch nehi ho sakte. And they are the trouble makers in every event.

Older gen is so rigid imo they are the wall and we are banging our head there..😆

Some ladies do act like that but they are treating their own family like differently.

Sirf naare lagaane ya bolne se kuch nahi hota , badlaav karne se aata hai..

My father always used to tell me ki 'beta bol ke nahi, sab ko kar ke dikha..'

that time lecture se gussa aata tha but now these words really as gems in my life.

idhar maya didi rudy boy ko dar ki hadhe todne ka lacture de rahi thi but khud implement karne mein itni der lagaa di..🤣

The older generation just refuses to even hear you out and that’s what makes it even more aggravating. They label you as “badtameez” at the slightest objection and that’s what makes them these unapproachable entities..

Because Maya didi can spout mouthful dialogues and walk away in those killer stilettos but acting on something she tried to preach is super tough!!
