Me too very happy for Vanita. Deserving winner. Loved shivaangi too. The planning and effort vanita put for her finale is commendable. She has done her homework well. It paid off. Surprised to know that she was a trained Chef.

Congrats to Vanitha!...She was a clear cut winner...Also loved the final and I agree that Ramya was not needed....she seemed not interested at all....I'm going to miss this show...only tamil show that I was watching.

Also for all Vanitha fans....she will soon start a YouTube channel that will involve cooking also...most likely in March/April...she said it in an interview.

I watched SS junior this weekend...give it a try....some kids are too much but still fun....Nakul is the 4th judge this time...he is cool and fun, but don't really know if it's ok to be a judge when he has not done much in singing....he is lucky to be with a legend like Chitra.

BTW does anyone know why they changed the host for zee tamil dancing show...it used to be the Malayalam girl...now it's Anjana...I haven't followed this show after like the first few episodes...saw the sunday epi...noticed a new host with Deepak.

Rosie, finally i watched Parasite on Saturday....after the Oscars, a new distributor bought the movie and re-released it in cinema so most cinemas was playing it..including the one near my house, which only plays English movies...Parasite was the first international movie playing there.

I liked the movie and my friend who never watched anything Korean and hates subtitles ended up also liking the movie...she said she was able to get into the movie although it was with subtitles.

I also do get why this movie attracted Hollywood...they are not used to this type of story telling and this type of social class subject...so they were captivated...however I do agree with you that there have been lot of good Tamil movies...it's sad that Tamil movies don't get the same type of exposure...maybe in future now that they opened up a bit.

Parasite has nothing similar to Minsara kanna plot other than the fact that a family infiltrate to a house with a purpose...here the family is really poor and not pretending to be poor... their purpose is not love but for financial gain....so Minsara kanna producer better watch the movie before he sues the movie😆.
