He's the first person I've seen on the show who is able to make her feel that, like she doesn't have to prove or fight for anything and is worthy of being adored just for existing as herself. And seeing his effect on her, seeing himself through her eyes, transforms him from the hesitant, awkward boy who doesn't know what he's doing into the confident man who knows exactly how to express his feelings.

I just love watching couples who have this effect on each other. Kuhu may always have to fight the world's perception of her as unintelligent, petty, and superficial, and Kunal may always have to fight the perception that he is passive and boring BUT when they are together, they get to be their true selves. Kuhu doesn't have to change her outward behaviour for Kunal to understand that her humour and 'bublliness' comes with a patient, sensitive and thoughtful soul, and Kunal doesn't have to become a champagne-and-roses Romeo for Kuhu to understand that he feels and loves deeply but is very subtle about demonstrating his feelings because was always taught that his emotions came last on the family priority list, and that expressing them was selfish. They share a mutual respect and acceptance and so bring out the best in each other.

True confessions: I did not know I had this much to say on the subject, but damn those scenes.

Damn!! The second paragraph made me feel so giddy inside. They truly do bring out the best in each other and make each other feel seen and secure. Hayee! I love these two❤️.

That confrontation I'll not forget. That's when I started liking Kaveri and messaged her for the first time that girl you nailed it! Ritvik was spot on being the guy who was left with no choice but to throw the truth on her face like that.

@last para.. Like Kuhu says #storyofmylife 🤣 I was devastated with Preet's death but yea Prem Heer was the only lead couple I loved 🤣🤣

Okay no more talking about other shows 🤐

@ blue: Sadly, I automatically wake up really early on the weekends. But I need at least 3 alarms to get up for work during the weekdays. 😊😕

@ red: Oh wow really? Did she reply back?

And about the liking the parallel leads, I feel whichever second leads that I end up liking are never together in the end. Either one of them dies or one of the actors leaves the show or sometimes these characters just randomly disappear. 😂😂 So I have my suspicions about KuKu being the end game too 😂😂

I just skimmed through the episode and the KuKu scene was really short. It was the same scene from the BTS video. I thought there would be more dialogues but sadly there was nothing more. And their hug seemed even shorter compared to the BTS video.

I am so over people interrupting when Kunal and Kuhu are talking. It was funny in Friday's episode but the same thing happened in today's episode. To me, it just looks like lazy writing. It's like the writers don't want to put any effort so they always randomly end KuKu scene with this trope.

And also wasn't Kunal in relationship with Shweta? What the heck did they talk about? How can it be possible that he doesn't know how to talk about his feelings but had a girlfriend before Kuhu?

But on the positive side, Kunal said he liked Kuhu instead of the saying he loved her. So there we might get another 30 seconds scene in future where he says he loves Kuhu 😏

Sorry about the negativity, but I am just disappointed about how they are writing Kunal and Kuhu's characters.

I fast-forwarded through the rest of the episode but I did see the precap. Meenu is back at being the bahu hating vamp saas, so there is some hope that writers will tone down Kuhu's "vampness" 😃

#FindSomeoneWhoLooksAtYouLikeThat

At the risk of sounding cynical, romances that go from meet-cute to marriage = happy ending don't really do it for me anymore. I crave stories about how two people build a relationship where love is just the first step, and they have to contend with each other's shortcomings, insecurities, and past baggage to transform that first spark into something lasting. It totally caught me off guard when I found such a story in a show like this one! Over the course of their rocky relationship, I feel like I've watched Kunal and Kuhu grow from adolescence into adulthood, intentionally/unintentionally helping each other along the way, and that makes me feel a little less cynical. 😊

I watched the episode. It was a good one and surprisingly I liked it😆 Maybe because I don't expect much these days..

The Kunal and Kuhu scene was cute. It was nice to see Kunal say it was the last day of their fights and misunderstandings (dude, beware of what you say 🤣). Kunal describes himself as a person who cannot be the ultra romantic guy but this is what he is and that's what she's gonna get BUT she needs to tuition him on how to become "that" dream guy which means he is ready to change. It was cute!

So the GP scene was very important to say how the story is gonna shape out. Don't miss it!

Meenakshi started her plotting - sisters against each other 😵 She started being the sugary lovely unrealistic saas and at the same time is pitting Kuhu against Mishti. Hated how Jas's "naukar" comment affected Kuhu So Kuhu is trying hard to remain in the good books of Meenu and Mishti is not even thinking of anything but Meenu is overly being sweet to her.. "Tumhari jagah mere dil mein" 🤢🤢🤢 I laughed really hard on that line 🤣

But this will definitely irk Kuhu! So coming to the GP scene Meenu put some stone in the kumkum water plate and asks Kuhu to get it. When Mishti steps on it, it obviously hurts and the red water spills on Kuhu. For me I think this symbolizes how Meenu will plot schemes via Kuhu which Kuhu will not know. Mishti falls prey to it and the blame falls on Kuhu. And we all know if Kuhu blames Mishti for random things then a mahayudh will start if Kuhu is blamed unnecessarily. But, but, but as soon as the water spills on Kuhu, Kunal immediately comes there to hold her and checks on her. This I'm hoping will be Kunal's role in the upcoming story where he will be there for Kuhu ❤️ Abir also checked on Kuhu which I liked.

Meenu already started playing games. She's too intelligent man! How smart was she when she said if Abir wins, Kuhu wins and if Mishti wins, Meenu wins 😳 👏🏼

I did the same! I really liked the scene even though it was short (I think I have finally made peace with not getting any more than that!); it just felt so Kuku. Kunal doesn't have all the words but Kuhu gets him and she could sense the depth of his emotion even though he couldn't fully express it today. Her face showed how much the #worstproposalever meant to her. 😭

I think this privacy thing will become a plot point for these two. That is why they are emphasizing it so much. I am also crossing my fingers for that future, 30-second I-love-you! 😆

I am guessing Kunal and Shweta's relationship didn't involve too much deep conversation. Seems like they partied a lot and hung out in a group of friends (based on that party she ambushed him with) and that was about it. Kunal was probably just as surprised that someone would want to be with him then, and Shweta leaving like she did strengthened his suspicions that he wasn't good/interesting enough for someone to actually love/want to marry him. And then Mishti's rejection confirmed it 🥺 He's still working on opening up and accepting that he is worthy of Kuhu's love and worthy of loving her in return.

Meenu is back in form! 😲 The way they set up today's episode sort of laid out the arc ahead -- lots and lots of symbolism to indicate that Meenu will try to play their mutual competitiveness against the sisters and they have to learn to work together to defend their relationships. The positive foreshadowing came in the form of the brothers being all supportive and protective, not just of their own wives but of each other's, and the establishment of the sisters as being wary but perfectly cordial when there is no external provocation. Kuhu planned the whole GP and participated happily and Mishti acknowledged Kuhu's existing place in the family. Obviously Kuhu's competitiveness will be played up more (because ITV) but I really hope this is the end of the "vamp" phase that loathsome promo was suggesting!

so while the fangirl in me was high-key disappointed that Kunal only said that he really liked Kuhu, I am still kind of happy that they kept it like that and didn't have him jump to a full-on confession. Because to be honest, that would have been WAY out of character had he told Kuhu that he loved her. I don't think he's quite to the point where he's absolutely sure he loves her, because I think a big part of him is really scared to give his whole heart to her. He's faced betrayal before, at the hands of not one woman, but two (Shweta and Meenakshi), and he needs to learn how to be able to trust again before giving himself completely to her.

I loved how he said that he couldn't believe that [she] could like him so much, despite him being boring and plain. That was so cute! The boy that once came off as a cold, overconfident, and brisk businessman is now telling the girl he fell for that he didn't even know that he was even a likeable guy. I don't know why, but that line hit differently 😳 I'm so proud of how far Kunal has come, and I'm so excited to see how much more he's willing to grow, just for his Kuhu.

The Kuku scene was sweet but I was just expecting a deeper conversation. But considering the fact that they are ITV parallel lead, I need to accept that this is as good as it gets. 💔

@bold: I hope this actually happens. That plotline will be far more interesting than what we are getting now. I would prefer to see Kuhu get angry at the fact that everyone is stealing her and Kunal's alone time rather than her being angry because Mishti is taking the limelight. Also, we had to wait 11 months to hear Kunal say he likes Kuhu, so hopefully, it is not another 11 months wait for the I-love-you scene. 😂

@ blue: Me too !! Me too !! I am so ready for the "Vamp Kuhu" phase to get over. I hope the precap is the beginning of the end of the "Vamp Kuhu" track. I am also super excited to see "Bahu hating " Meenu back. The way she was acting super sweet in the past few episodes almost made me diabetic. 😂😂

@bold: That was one the best part of the scene for me. It was like Kunal was finally acknowledging and embracing the immense love that Kuhu has for him. ❤️❤️

I agree. Even though the promo suggested that Kuhu would try to separate the leads, we haven't seen that so far. She has no problem with Abir and Mishti's relationship or marriage; she's just worried about her own future, and being relegated to the role of Mishti's sidekick in RVS. Today's episode showed that she is more than happy to be proven wrong in this fear (Kunal's love, Abir's friendship, and Mishti's acknowledgment went a long way) but that Meenu is going to do everything in her power to stoke it. 😔

I know I'll probably be in the minority, but I'm quite happy with this confession/proposal. Kunal said he loved her, point blank, when it mattered. Now, it doesn't bother her if he has the right words or not because she can see his love in his eyes and feel it in his totally vulnerable honesty. I was actually thinking to myself, if they do butcher this ship, this episode will serve nicely as my own ending for both their story and the show.

Not gonna lie, I was kind of disappointed (though unsurprised) to lose my fantasy of a mentor Meenu whipping these feuding sisters into shape, but since she is using the same knowledge and perceptiveness for evil and it will probably have the same end result, I guess I am on board, especially if it takes some of the burden of negativity off Kuhu.
