Rahul believed in this since college and after his wife died , he keeps repeating this to be sure that he will never love anyone else and would suffer in seclusion.

However , that changes to the end of the movie , proving Farid the mother was right and completing the story of Rahul character from a widowed guy who has no hope to end of film where he gets married , that's character arc.

Tina role went to many actresses but most of denied to play,,,one is Twinkle Khanna some others were there but right now only Twinkle is coming, Rani was a Fatty Mahila at that time and she was rejected by KJO while dress rehearsals Rani went through strict diet for the role it was Rani second movie

May be he believed that but when he fell in love again he realised it was not true that pyaar ek hi baar hota hai
