Also, Anil has scripts raining on him so it's not the lack of work that's hurting but that he wasn't made aware that his cult movie was being remade. Picking up one's phone isn't that difficult to prevent hurting their feeling.

Boney has been a terrible person in a lot of things in life. I don't even argue that. But Sonam isn't being completely honest here. They knew Mr. India was being rebooted - Boney was talking about it for a year publicly. What they didn't know is that Anil and his kids won't get to be a part of it.

Boney should have been nice and let them know but tell me this, do you think it would have changed anything? Sonam would have still been complaining about how they are not being involved when they have a moral right over the film. Informing or not informing hardly matters - it's just semantics. Boney informing them himself a few week ago that the film will happen with other actors would not have changed anything - it's not like Anil and Sonam and their family would have been satisfied. They would have still been angry because the fight isn't really about knowing or not knowing or being informed or not. It's about Anil and family wanting to be part of the film.

They may have other scripts but this is the type of film that could have relaunched Harsh into being a mainstream hero banking on nostalgia. If not Harsh, Sonam would have wanted an iconic role to her name. But Boney is obviously going to prefer his own daughter over his nieces and nephews. If Jaanu gets the Sridevi role, neither Harsh or Sonam would be able to do anything in the film.

I wonder if they would have used the same term had it been a man.

The thing with feminism is that everything count. It's an everyday struggle to fight nor ormalized misogyny and belittling of women.

If everything counts then why didn’t she make use of the opportunity to take a stand against Salman when he made that ‘rape’ comment? And why did she go out of her way indirectly belittling the woman who was trying to take a stand against Hirani- the least she could have done here is just keep her mouth shut.... On one hand she says the world shouldn’t support conservatism and then right off the bat goes and attends a party glorifying the very people who can be called baap of conservatism.....

I think you are wasting your breathe trying to defend and justify such a hypocrite.... Its one thing to like her craft and be a fan of it, other than that what do we know about these people who keep flipping from this side to that side as per their convenience?

Harsh is doing the Bindra biopic next. Seeing his filmography, I'm not sure he wants to be a mainstream actor. Otherwise he might have chosen and gotten a lead in a more mainstream movie.

Sonam already has iconic roles in her filmography (or is it the fan in me talking?)

It's not because he's been taking about it a year ago that the project did take shape immediately. For me he should have told Anil from the moment everythingwas finalised (if it's indeed Boney)...

I find it harsh that people are belittling Anil''s feelings because they assume he wanted roles for his children in it.

I don't know what went on behind closed doors just like anyone who isn't in on what happened but I'm choosing to give Sonam the benefit of the doubt regarding her actions here. She doesn't come off as petty to me and I can understand a kid being hurt for one's parent when they feel they were hurt.

Shekhar Kapoor should be the last person ranting about professionalism. He was the one who left Roop Ki Rani Choro Ka Raja midway after shooting half of the film just because he thought the film lacked soul which added to delays and exceeding budgets and took literally six years for the film to complete. And we all know what the film did to Surinder Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. It is still one of the costliest films made and one of the biggest disasters of all time in Bollywood, the main reason for Boneys downfall money wise. It was so bad that even on its 25th year, Satish put up a public apology to Boney as the film left him broke. What goes around, comes around and looks like the same hapenned to Shekhar Kapoor.

Don't assume to know me or my motivations. I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt as I couldn't assume her being right or wrong.

She could be the biggest bitch this earth has seen and I would still like her as I enjoy her persona.

One can't know how a public figure really is as we only see what they choose to show us. I don't loose my sleep for what goes on in their life as I tend to move on when I don't like something.

One can have ideals and have feelings/affection for people who don't meet these standards. They would themselves give them the benefit of the doubt.

If you don't witness something or that the events told to you don't seem believable enough, then how can you shun someone on hearsay ?

Oh wow.... Is it? So Shekhar Kapoor is not all that that he tries to show off as, after all....Recently I also got to read a couple of interviews by his ex-wife Suchitra and the things that she shared about him shocked me and i have decided to take it with a pinch of salt but now this is making me want to believe everything that she said about him....☹️

Excuse me which part of my reply made you believe that I was doing that?

As for shunning someone you sure don’t have to but,i guess the opposite of it is not defending&justifying their every questionable action- at least to my understanding....
