Hurt?? Can anyone make Mrityunjay feel hurt? He looks shaken to the core, he looks stunned. Her love for Rudra has shown its strength, that even pushed mighty Mrityunjay to a wall. He looks stunned and he had that "Iski itni himmat" look written on his face.

Yup...the way he let loose of himself when Maya dragged him to the wall..He was visibly shaken and fascinated...By her proximity, by her love for Rudra, by her Sanak for Rudra, and ofcrs by her ferocity...

Why will he not try to conquer her..

if it wasn’t before , the feelings wud return with full force...and this one showdown wud turned him ON for sure..

Manvi/Maya was special to MJ in his own twisted evil way in the past until she became a threat to his name and reputation. Diya constantly points out to everyone including MJ that he had a soft corner for Maanvi. He never denied Diya's claim that Manvi was special to him, which makes me believe that she was special to him compared to Diya and Antara even today.

There have been numerous scenes where MJ is shown remembering Manvi, such as hearing her voice in Rudra's office for the first time, Maya's entry with her new hairdo, constantly complimenting her new hairstyle as it reminds him of Maanvi, cutting her hair because Rudra complimented it, and even destroying the dress that Rudra gifted her.

If you go back and rewatch the scene when Maya proclaims to everyone that she loved Rudra, MJ looks shocked and angry until he realizes that she still fears him. For someone like MJ, fear is an emotion that trumps all emotions. He was happy that he still held that control over her, which was a greater emotion than love for him. When MJ cut Maya's hair and destroyed the dress, he reminded Maya he won't allow anyone to take his place in her life because that is only his right.

That was the case until today when Maya confronted him for Rudra. He is shocked and hurt that Maya's love for Rudra is greater than her fear of him. I believe this will trigger the demon in him as his belief that he still holds power over her is shattered. For a man like MJ, this will hurt his ego as he can abandon people and things but they can't abandon him.

I believe MJ is still not over Maanvi and that hurts him little more everyday as he continues to see new shades of Maya and her love for Rudra. Maya is different from Maanvi, she only has eyes for Rudra.

Exactly, Maya is not that strong enough to push Mrityunjay to the wall. But that sheer strength shocked the daylights out of Mrityunjay. He wasn't expecting this at all.

Now, what will Mrityunjay use against Maya. Her love for Rudra conquered even her fear for Mrityunjay. And Mrityunjay cannot let his 'asar' on Maya go away so easily, whatever form of asar it is. Let's see how he reacts after this.

I agree with you. Mrityunjay in his twisted mind had a special place for Manvi. He remembers her voice, her taste in flowers and her hair. Baalon ke peeche to naha dhokar peeche pad gaya ye to. Mrityunjay can hurt anyone to prove a point, actually.

The problem of Mrityunjay is that his 'asar' is still there on Maya, be it in any form. Ab agar asar khatm ho jayega, to woh tilmila uthega, his ego will not accept it.
