@aqua: I am also bummed after watching today's episode (you're post on the forum is HILARIOUS, btw 🤣). They deleted so many little details from the BTS like Kunal helping Kuhu up from the mandap (whatever, I know it happened; it's canon). And him leaving her with that dupatta? That was so weird -- why wouldn't he just hold her hand and take her with him? 😕 It was like, "tum ek minute ye shaadi sambhalo, main bhai ko dekh kar aata hoon" 🤔 Story of Kuhu's life? Probably.

I really wish Mishti had either said no to Kuhu and let her throw a tantrum in front of the elders, or if she said yes, then completely give Kuhu what she wants. This sleight of hand where she does the mahaan thing, gets all the credit but then turns around and makes it redundant by pulling focus at the last minute and making her moment bigger is exactly what pisses Kuhu (and me) off. The way Kuhu turned back and smiled at Mishti showed that she was really grateful and was probably ready to call it even after this wedding. So much for that!

That said, there were some lovely details, like when biwi winked and our sweet dulha sharmagaya. 😳 And I also loved the song selection; so perfect for these two!

Also, I really like how Meenu handled these two -- much better than anything I've seen from the Maheshwaris. She gave Mishti credit for being magnanimous but also stopped Varsha from nullifying the positive effect that had. I liked that she called it Kuhu's adhikaar, not reducing it to her zidh. She made both girls feel valid and appreciated, and I don't know how long it'll last, but it's a relief compared to the Maheshwaris.

@Bold- agreed if only for once Kuhu got 100% of something she wouldnt be so insecure (dont like this word at all). Out of this topic, the forum is probably going ballistics with Kuhu this, Kuhu that. The wedding moments between our Kuku were so Kuhu was so happy.

Does it make me a bad person if I say that I actually felt really bad for Kuhu in today's episode? It's probably how Kaveri executes her facial expressions and projects Kuhu's character through the screen, but my heart hurt when I saw tears pool in her eyes after Kunal left her hanging to go running to see Mishti and Abir. I felt as if it was symbolic to her as to what was going to happen regularly once Mishti starts living in the RV house as her jethani. To be honest, I really don't want to see Kuhu have to share her sasural with Mishti. I want to see her shine and I want her to build her own world, separate from her family members who have done nothing but (unintentionally) build up her insecurities little by little. It also irritated me to see BM constantly sharing worried looks with BP throughout Kunal and Kuhu's wedding, and BP constantly checking his watch. This implied that had Mishti and Abir's wedding happened first, Kunal and Kuhu's wedding would have never happened. And BM and BP knew this. That's why BM and BP were so bothered with Kuhu getting married first. I'm sorry, but that is incredibly crappy of the two of them. Didn't BM claim that she doesn't differentiate between Mishti and Kuhu? Then why was she completely okay with the high possibility of Kuhu's wedding not happening? The hypocrisy, I tell you.

Agreed, had Kuhu never made the demand to get married on the same day Mishti, all of this probably wouldn't have happened. But it should be noted that no one would be even talking about Kunal and Kuhu's remarriage had Mishti kept her nose out of business that isn't hers, and had left her inherent need to be mahaan. I don't completely agree with everything Kuhu said to Mishti in the market in one of the recent episodes, but one thing I agreed with is that Mishti is, at least on a subconscious level, trying to redeem herself after breaking Nannu's heart and disappointing her family. Kunal and Kuhu could have easily smoothed over things quietly without a word to their families, and Kunal wouldn't have felt obligated to propose to Kuhu's parents. This brings me to another problem I have with this whole shebang.

In my honest opinion, Kuhu should have waited to marry/get back together with Kunal. Maybe not divorced, but definitely waited. There is no doubt that Kunal loves Kuhu, but even he himself doesn't know whether he loves Kuhu, the Rajvansh bahu, or Kuhu, his wife. He was clearly trying to maintain the peace between the two families so that Mishti and Abir's wedding goes off without a hitch, so he took the drastic step of remarrying Kuhu. It bothers me that Kunal may have just pulled this stunt to keep both families happy, not because he treasures the personal relationship he shares with Kuhu.

And for the billionth time, can someone ship Jasmeet off to London?! This woman, who claims to understand Kuhu, is clearly only trying to exact revenge on Mishti by using Kuhu to wreck her marriage. She doesn't actually genuinely care about Kuhu, and I wish Kuhu was self-aware enough to realize that.

I can join in right ?

Haven't been able to watch the episode. I guess I would be able to over the weekend. But from what I learnt through spoilers, it really did leave a bitter taste in my mouth :-/

I mean the weddings could have happened on a happy, positive note (not meaning to say there wouldn't be moments worth cherishing here and there) but to make it happen in such a manner where the family leaves one daughter stranded to attend the wedding of another daughter is awful to say the least. Also how nonsensical is not having a bidaai for Kuhu too?! So what if she was married from before?

Mishti I believe is bipolar, she does at any given moment what she feels at that point is right. To be able to guage far reaching consequences has never been this particular character's trait.

Abir basically makes her world go round, so while she does decide on one thing out of familial responsibilities but fails to stick to it because the yearning to be with Abir is too huge (I hope that doesn't sound wrong tho)

I felt the Valentine's Day scene between Kuhu and Kunal was symbolic. Kunal pulled Kuhu into an embrace and she felt finally at peace <3 I wish he showers and pampers her with all the love <3

Btw guys, did you all notice on that day, when Meenu was talking to Kunal and Kuhu called out his name? Watch it here -

One of my friends was telling me on Twitter that when Kunal told Shaurya he loves Kuhu, Meenakshi didn't particularly look pleased on hearing it 😲 Is it true?! I haven't watched this week's episodes yet.

She really was so happy through out the wedding, thinking she finally got first priority even if she had to fight for it.

Just look at her as she leaves the room! 😭

Okay, so I have to rant about Mishti's dial

But um, Mishti? Kuhu wasn't handed this KJo-directed life -- she started with exactly the same odds that you did -- in fact worse because she didn't even have Kunal's love and support -- and she worked and loved selflessly through some dark times to earn what she has in her sasural today. Plus, that love you're so proud of? The one that you're fighting for everyday, the one that makes everythine else seem irrelevant? Yeah, you wouldn't have that if Kuhu hadn't fought on your behalf and broken the communication barrier that you and Abir had so deftly constructed with your NishMish attacks and your impulsive, life-shattering truth revelations (still waiting for her to apologise to Kunal for this, btw). So maybe take a step back and understand that other people have real problems, and just because they were able solve them in a way that you wouldn't have chosen doesn't mean they got lucky. It may mean that *gasp* you were wrong/have something to learn.

Mishti is entirely missing Kuhu's point which is this: if you hadn't meddled in my affairs, and stolen my papers, Kunal and I would have quietly sorted out our problems and either privately called off the divorce or gone through with it. Today would have been all about you and Abir, and everyone would have gotten their happy ending, but that wasn't enough for you. You just had to drag my problems into the open and drag and the entire family through an unnecessarily traumatic experience and for what? Because you couldn't resist the urge to be the great saviour? As usual, our family cannot wait to smooth everything over and pretend like this never happened, but I am so done with you not facing consequences for your actions just because everyone is too scared of drama. You wanted to make today about me? Great! I'm totally on board and I will do everything in my power to pull focus. You messed up and I am DONE being complicit in this mission to protect you from the repercussions.

Mishti needs to understand that people are allowed to be angry with her for things she did, even if she didn't mean to hurt them. Impact over intention, or in simpler terms. "sorry doesn't make a dead man alive" 😆 BM and BP have seriously failed her in this department. They taught her to cope with people's anger by universally dismissing it as pettiness and immaturity, and believing herself above it all. That is why Mishti hasn't been able to build real relationships with any of the other members of the Maheshwari household (or even, I would argue, BP and BM themselves). In trying to compensate for her feelings of abandonment, and affirm that she was loved, BM and BP gave her the impression that she could do no wrong and she ended up with a sense of superiority rather than genuine self-worth. As a result, she's also left with a crippling fear that she'll be abandoned again if she does't live up to their image of her. It coule ba a genuinely compelling arc; I just wish the show would address it properly.

OMG this is amazing 👏, and thank you so much for posting it on this thread. You have analyzed Kuhu and Mishti so well. I cant even get mad at Kuhu, because I can see where she is coming from and I think that is where the writers are trying their hardest to make Kuhu the villain, because despite her multiple shades of grey fans havent turned on her completely, disappointed yes, but not 100%.

Kunal left Kuhu to attend Mishti and Abir's wedding?

:(

Sigh I used to be so proud and content thinking that Rajvansh family will never dish out the kind of behaviour that Maheshwari family always did. But I guess given the current track they would make it a point to do so (say for instance Nanu saying that day that the necklace was for family's most special bahu, how awful was that)

I wish they stop writing this serial in a way where one sister becomes the villain in another sister's story. But I guess that's the underlying theme of the show smh.

I have a bit of hope that perhaps someday, Abir and Kunal would step up to resolve the differences and strained relation between Mishti and Kuhu. If not them I wish Parul becomes the bridge because unlike majority of elders on the show, she is not biased.
