My Kuhu-centric take away from today's episode: If Kuhu was scared of losing her marriage and having to face that reality, she is absolutely terrified now that she has it, and has to face this one, because she has that much more to lose. She is not taking *any* risks, especially where Mishti is concerned.

She doesn't know if Mishti revealed her divorce papers on purpose or not, she doesn't know if Mishti was serious about sending her and Kunal away and living like a maharani in RVS and she doesn't know what Mishti's "game plan" is once she enters their sasural. Knowing what we know, it's easy to see she's panicking and overreacting but she's acting on her knowledge and experiences. Maybe it is just a coincidence that Mishti's "help" has played a major role in many of Kuhu's problems, but she is not in any mood to entertain that benefit of doubt right now. The combination of the audience knowing that Mishti didn't have any malicious intentions and Mishti being willing to share the mandap make it seem like Kuhu is being unreasonable out of the blue, but they have actually built up Kuhu's mistrust of Mishti quite convincingly from the beginning of the leap.

From the day she got back from London, Mishti has shut Kuhu out of her all her plans, laughed at her concerns, dismissed her help, and has consistently told her one thing and gone and done something completely different, usually with devastating consequences. Despite her major doubts, Kuhu eventually put her trust in Mishti when she said that she was done with Abir and committed to Nishant, and we all know how that ended. At this point, Kuhu is absolutely done taking Mishti at face value, and is trying to push Mishti's buttons so she can figure out what's actually going on in her head, while at the same time trying to fiercely guard what's hers.

I 100% see what you're saying but what I cannot understand is why did it have to be that same mandap apart from the fact that it'll help heighten the drama. Kuhu doesn't seem like a person who would take revenge.

Agar sabse different shaadi karni thi MishBir ki to it could have happened kaise bhi. Nanu had said that all functions will be super different (which they weren't 🙄) to shaadi could've been done on a bus bhaag ke. They could have made it an elaborate thing rather making the track so negative.

My god! She looks damn gorgeous and super pretty in this lehenga

The baby pink and flower print is very graceful and sober, which is quite different to the usual loud, colourful and eccentric Kuhu outfits😃. Kaveri carries both styles with awesome confidence and charm❤️👏

Beautiful Kaveri xx🤗

She is so pretty!!! This girl can carry any type of clothing 🤩🤩

And please, both KuKu did wrong/mistakes in their past😆 Don't be so blind Kuhu defender like Mishbir shippers then "unke aur aap ke bech farq kya reh jayegi" 😔

Green - The Time Is Over Now 😆 Ab bas popcorn🍿 loo aur enjoy the "Aurton ka daily doze Drama" in RV house 🤣

Arre nahi nahi!! Not defending Kuhu's mistakes but Kuhu ne Kunal ke saath kya galat kiya??

Kunal ne jo kiya Kuhu ke saath kiya. Isliye she should have left him. Not the other way around.

The one thing that has me cracking up the most about in this entire track is that, despite being extremely wealthy families and being able arrange for an extra sherwani, an extra lehenga, and even a freaking extra horse, the makers are so obsessed with creating shallow drama for TRP that they didn't consider the possibility of having two mandaps and pandits. Bruh, for real? I'm dead 😆 I don't think they realize that they can definitely get TRP for having a happy track here and there.

I feel like there would have been a lot more to this track if they had just put a little bit of effort into Kuhu's dialogues. Right now, they're purposely writing them to make her sound petty and immature, but if they spent a little bit more time on having her talk about everything she's been through and why she feels so upset and insecure, this track could be so much more enjoyable and thought-provoking. Plus Mishti's dialogues are also incredibly weak. I'm not at all pleased. Are these really the same writers that wrote the initial episodes of this show?

At this point, I'm just watching the episodes so I can read y'alls thoughts after (especially you, @sam!). I love, love, love the conversations that happen on this thread.

Also, random sidenote, Kaveri looks so so gorgeous. That girl can really pull off anything. I've really come to grow quite fond of her, probably more than any other actor/actress on this show. She's so bubbly and bright, and always has something optimistic and sweet to say if you watch her in her interviews and the BTS videos. I've even noticed that Ritvik finds her enthusiasm to be quite endearing. Plus, can we just appreciate how TALENTED she is?! Aaahhh now I'm fangirlingggg

@bold: Well, nobody is born with an inherent propensity for revenge. Kuhu wasn't the type of person who would take revenge, but this reaction is the culmination of her feelings of betrayal for Nishant, for the way the divorce truth came out, and for her family's reactions to both. It's partly her saying, if I'm going to be labeled immature no matter how I act, why not act immature and get something out of it? And partly her saying to Mishti, accidentally or otherwise, you have managed to disrupt several important moments in my life and draw attention to yourself, so why don't you see what it feels like?

I'm totally with you; I would not have chosen to make the tone so negative, but I do appreciate that there is some consistency and substance in what they are showing. This is a truly flawed female character and I'm hoping it'll be an enjoyable journey to see her fight through this rough patch in her personal growth.

This is the eternal tragedy of the show. They never quite exploit the depth of the characters they have created, leads included. Mostly, they write the show to cater to a TRP audience who need everything to be formulaic and super over-the-top explicit. It's only weirdos like us who see the nuances and crave more of the subtle undertones.

Lol, I was so ready to quit the show after this wedding and now here I am, writing reams and reams all thanks to the insightful, creative group of peole we have on this thread. 😡😆

AND, totally with you on the Kaveri fangirling! The way she's grown over the course of the show is incredible. Apparently, she did her own make-up for this look and I'm super-duper impressed! The eyeshadow, the dewy highlight -- it's such a striking look!

This!! We know what Mishti's intentions are but Kuhu doesn't and despite of doing it to "help" Mishti's interference has led to Kuhu's problems so from Kuhu's pov she is justified in being wary. The way she is reacting with the mandap being hers first, it seems rational for her. If anything I feel the build up to her actions are well done.

I feel like I have to keep putting a disclaimer in all my posts that I don't support all of Kuhu's actions but I understand where she is coming from. 😃

I strongly believe patriarchy makes chudails out of women. Jasmeet is one prime example. She has no rights. Her concerns about the girl chosen for her son were dismissed. Why? Because ofcourse her husband is not here. So who gets to make decisions on her behalf... the other elder male in the family ofcourse. Everything she says is truth and/or comes out true. It's how she says it that makes us think she is a chudail. Has she gotten worse over time? Yes. Will we ever consider why? Ofcourse not... she should grit her teeth and get on with minor inconveniences that women face day to day so that male egos and decisions are upheld.

Patriarchy teri jai ho!

Rant over

Agree with this. If we see the NishMish wedding from Jasmeet's pov, her son was going to get married and on the eve had his heartbroken and then left for London alone. Instead of anyone sympathising with her (other than 2 generic dialogues) the wedding of the girl who broke her son's heart is planned grandly. Like she is given no time to get over or process it all. But then again Jasmeet is a sidey sidey vamp-adjacent character so no need to focus on her somewhat credible anger.

Bold - This is very DEEP

Yes, they're sidey characters whom emotions feelings have no value infront of Leads!

Cause their Rona-Dhona won't give TRPs but FL's same repeatative lacher-bewas, being bechari, cringe rona-dhona make TRP audiences thousand times senti 🤧🤧
