I am sorry but I disagree.

Karan is conflicted. Preeta is not.

Karan believes Preeta has betrayed him. Is responsible for his father's coma and was supposedly going to get married by the person who caused the accident. He hates her. Yet, is always conflicted by his heart. He is split in halves with each half having 180° directioned emotions for Preeta. He is explosive because he is not aware of the truth. He doesn't want to confess his feelings to her because back of the mind he still believes she has broken his heart and trust and on the other hand, he can't *not* express his feelings because , he obviously have abundance of it. Karan believes Preeta has wronged him but he also believes that she can't be a murderer.

Preeta however knows that Karan has wronged her in more than one ways and in the most brutal manner.

He has not only humilated her but also her family. He had freaking fake confessed his love after marrying her by cheating. And left her on road! He got bloody engaged to someone even after being married to her and threw that on her face. She needs to have absolutely no self respect no love and respect for her own family to acknowledge his unconfessed confession of love.

Not saying she will go out of love for him but no self respecting woman would ever accept it on his face that she loves the man (like Karan)

It's too cheap and shameful even for a fictional character.

Demeaning to the core.

Karan is still understandable but Preeta is not.

In all this mess if we see clearly, Karan , despite being the douche is coming out as a bigger person who *despite believing* preeta as a cheat , is helping her and going soft on her.

This whole show has gone nuts.

Karan is a certified douche, which is toh an all accepted fact that is all fine an dandy, he is also flawlessly two timing at this point that is also fine an dandy, BUT there has to be a point in the show where Preeta has to feel not just gutted and act like a freaking doormat but actually act out like a trademark Balaji Telefilm heroine! Considering things are being shown in a more positive an lighter affirmative note towards Karan at this stage, so for Preeta to actually reach a certain boiling point Karan would need to do something worse than what he has already done?! I am assuming...... Preeta cannot be a moppy love-sick, slightly despo puppy forever....Or can she?!

As horrendous as Karan's actions has been since Rishab's wedding , there has been a reason behind it, however impractical it has been. The writers have given reason behind his actions, betrayal and anger.

Till up to the point where the Luthra's received the legal notice, Karan's anger has won over his feelings for Preeta. But since the moment Preeta told him that im happy you're getting married, I will be free of u forever, his anger has reduced. If we look closely after that point it has been abt Preeta feels for him, farq games etc, rather then his anger. So slowly , he has moved from anger to confusion abt Preeta. We can map and somewhat understand his thoughts.

Preeta however, took a complete 180 since the mehndi. Up until that point she was angry, hurt etc but did not show it to Karan. Gave him cold calculated answers. Heck I even somewhat understood her " mujhe justice nai chaye" , as wanting to forget & move on.

But since the mehdi feel on her hand, she has lost all common sense.

@bold... i agree with what u said. makers actually wanna show madness more than love and they are successful in it. and they also made it very clear that karan and preeta can never have a stable married life together because of this madness.

Preeta is the biggest disappointment in the show. I was literally ashamed of watching her blushing today. It was awful. It was awkward. And, yes, she is like despo.

As much as Ekta is very strong headed about single parenting, preeta is shown to be a middle class woman who can take insults and humiliation on her but not her child. All (most) Balaji leads have been single mothers. But, being a single mother doesn't mean you can't emotionally break down seeing your partner(this case husband) not backing out on his second marriage.

She may finally choose to leave him without telling him about the kid.

Sorry it may sound weird but this can be a case.

The trps are really high. Usually there is no sign of consummation or even kisses until they need to rise the trps. They milk it to the last drop. Consummation is like a last and desperate step to fill their pockets before a leap 😄

OK if that happens, I can see the ratings going through the roof. I mean, I doubt they'll show preeta pregnant by karan anytime soon, but balaji could still do that if they wanted, and as it is I agree that I too already sense karan getting back to doing some a-holery very soon.

Not saying he is good in general but Preeta brings out the worst and Good in him. His good although is not enough to overshadow his literally horrendous most cruel act possible.

Preeta however is a huge disappointment. I have had enough exposure of ekta and Balaji shows and I have never seen a female lead so spineless and now , tbh, shameless as well.

The moment she apologized to him for her mother's slap, I lost it.

That's it. There's nothing that can be done to pull her back.

There may be futile attempts to redeem Karan and I can still somehow somewhere try to look beyond his deed in the pretext of being gone completely nuts thinking preeta as a betrayer but preeta not sticking up with her mother, hell, she freaking apologized on her behalf was the worst I have seen on itv.
