I have a very strong hunch it's about him consummating his unrecognized marriage with preeta and yet continuing his marriage with mahira .

As much as Ekta is very strong headed about single parenting, preeta is shown to be a middle class woman who can take insults and humiliation on her but not her child. All (most) Balaji leads have been single mothers. But, being a single mother doesn't mean you can't emotionally break down seeing your partner(this case husband) not backing out on his second marriage.

She may finally choose to leave him without telling him about the kid.

Sorry it may sound weird but this can be a case.

However , I really want to be proven wrong.

Karan is conflicted. Preeta is not.

Karan believes Preeta has betrayed him. Is responsible for his father's coma and was supposedly going to get married by the person who caused the accident. He hates her. Yet, is always conflicted by his heart. He is split in halves with each half having 180° directioned emotions for Preeta. He is explosive because he is not aware of the truth. He doesn't want to confess his feelings to her because back of the mind he still believes she has broken his heart and trust and on the other hand, he can't *not* express his feelings because , he obviously have abundance of it. Karan believes Preeta has wronged him but he also believes that she can't be a murderer.

Preeta however knows that Karan has wronged her in more than one ways and in the most brutal manner.

He has not only humilated her but also her family. He had freaking fake confessed his love after marrying her by cheating. And left her on road! He got bloody engaged to someone even after being married to her and threw that on her face. She needs to have absolutely no self respect no love and respect for her own family to acknowledge his unconfessed confession of love.

Not saying she will go out of love for him but no self respecting woman would ever accept it on his face that she loves the man (like Karan)

It's too cheap and shameful even for a fictional character.

Karan is still understandable but Preeta is not.

In all this mess if we see clearly, Karan , despite being the douche is coming out as a bigger person who *despite believing* preeta as a cheat , is helping her and going soft on her.

This whole show has gone nuts.

I agree..still dont agree to preetas actions..she knows karan has wronged her but she also knows karan loves her . Karan misunderstands her , hence she is giving him a leeway.

He fake confessed his love in front of the world but how much was it was fake , is yet to be found out hence the conflict. He got engaged to someone else so that preeta stops the wedding and confesses that she has feelings for him ..yes in a twisted manner this is appaling , after what he did to preeta he still expects her to say it first ..that she is affected . But when the time comes both ,out of their ego , say they have no feelings for each other. Karan doesnt even look at mahira , he was only getting a reaction from preeta...so preeta also knows this , bec when she disguised herself as Charlie Chaplin, karan poured his heart out to her , unknowingly ..but not completely ..this is what changed preeta ..

See as a viewer I want karan to come on his knees and ask for forgiveness and I want preeta to move away but none of this will happen ..its their story so they will.be together . Preeta is a dumb fool to have fallen for karan but all these mixed feelings and reactions have fried her brain..karan is also messed up..I am commenting as per what they r showing ,not my analysis😊
