The one best thing that Asim did for himself in this show is separating from Shukla. This enabled peiple to see him for who he is and apart from Shukla's shadow.

I remember him being in my bashing list and also calling him a chamach. Asim's come a long way from being vice president of Shuklapur to being his own person and standing upto that bully for himself. His has done pretty well for himself and that's quite commendable.
