They need psychiatric help for dealing with it... But yahan to aisa kuch expect kar bhi nahi sakte.

So, yes it will take time for Maya to overcome her trauma...

And achanak se if she overcomes her trauma, it will be totally unrealistic... But the makers should show something related to this too...
