Why was Mahira laughing when she was getting embarrassed by Shukla?

Why was she laughing at the clips? She looked like a complete idiot. Even Arti wasn't smiling and we call her the doormat yet this idiot was laughing as if she was at Comedy nights with Kapil.

She tries to deflate the situation when someone close to her mistreat her, I am sure she would have laughed more if Paras forcefully kissing her was shown or calling her names and pushing her.

She does not have guts to call that person out so she tries to laugh it off and pretend they are joking
