I think tomo we will know what Rudra meant.. I feel makers are just throwing a thrill element at us today and we will get the answers tomo.. the thing is that they can do that only with Rudra considering his character is the one who can be the mystery element in the show..

I have no doubt of their mutual love at all.. my hunch is that Rudra tried to save Maya that's it to shut all these ppl..

Yeah he doesn't know the truth yet. He just did it to shut them up because he loves her insanely. He can't explain logically to them so he took the safe route that she was with him on that day. I think even Maya would question him or they might've a conversation regarding this

More than Maya, I believe in Rudras love for her and expect him to support her in her quest for justice unconditionally. I think lying is very unexpected from Rudra as he stands for honesty and transparency. I hope Maya asks him about it.
