Sorry guys for being so late in updating this FF... I literally forgot about this FF...

Anyways, as my other FFs are ending, I am planning to continue this one.

Chapter 5:-

' Ms.Sharma, come with the black file in my cabin.' said Rishabh.

Prerna nodded and got to work.

Rishabh was impressed by her.

' So, Ms. Sharma, please check this files by tomorrow.' said Rishabh, and handed her those files.

' Yes, Sir!'

Prerna took the files from him, went to her cabin and got down to work.

Time passed by...

It was lunch time. Most of the employees had gone to the canteen or relished their lunch brought from home.

Only three people were working- Rishabh Bajaj, Mr.Mehra and Prerna Sharma.

'Offo! Itne saare mistakes ek hi file mein! I have to correct these!' Prerna mumbled.

She has taken her job far too seriously.

Her colleagues had come to ask her to join them, but she denied.

She was so engrossed in the files that she failed to notice him standing in front of her, with a smirk on his face.

Prerna was chewing the pencil. She had this habit since childhood.

' Ahem... It's lunch time, Miss Sharma!'

Startled, Prerna stood up.

' Good morning, Sir!' Not knowing what to say, Prerna uttered these words.

' It's Good Afternoon, Miss. Prerna.'

' Sorry, Sir! '

' I don't like people to whom Time has no value. Time is money. This simple mistake can cost the loss of crores. From now on, remember it's which time of the day.'

' Yes, Sir. I will remember!' said Prerna.

Rishabh turned back and went away, leaving Prerna to mutter various words under her breath.

' Ajeeb boss hai mera! Hmph!'

Just then, Rishabh came in and asked,' Did you say something just now, Miss Sharma?'

' Me? No, Sir! What can I say???' Prerna gave an excuse.

' Okay. Won't you have lunch? It's Lunch time, Ms.Sharma.' said Rishabh, checking the time on his Rolex watch.

' Sir, this files...'

' It's unethical, Miss Sharma. Value time.' said Rishabh.

' Ok...Yes, Sir!'

' Follow me to the canteen. We will have lunch there.'

Rishabh turned around.

Prerna scratched her ittu sa chota head and thought,' Inhe bipolar disorder hai Kya? Kabhi honey ki Tarah meethi meethi baate karte Hain, Kabhi karele ke Jaise baatein and behave karte Hain!'

Nevertheless, she followed her Boss.

'Have your seat, Miss Sharma!'

Rishabh waited for his PA to sit down and sat on the chair opposite to her.

' So, Miss Sharma, you are a pure Bengali, right?'

' Yes, Sir! I was born and bred up here.'

' So, you know Kolkata very well.'

' Ummmm. Yes, Sir!'

Meanwhile...

Anurag-' Di... What's this??? A secret firm is preventing the new business deals from coming to us! Instead, the deals are going to a certain Bajaj Infragiants!'

Nivi- ' I noticed this too, Onu. Well, I am seeking into the roots of the matter.'

Hearing the name of Bajaj Infragiants, the color drained off from the Manager's face...

Cut to PreRish...

' Well, gather for me the details about the business prospects around Tala Bridge.'

' Tala Bridge? But Sir, it's under reconstruction!'

' I said, around the Tala Bridge, Miss Sharma!' said Rishabh, and summoned the waiter.

Prerna put her tongue out and smiled sheepishly.

The other employees were also there.

One guy said to the other, ' Isn't our boss too cozy with his PA? '

' He isn't. Just business ethics.'

' I don't think so. Prerna is such a beauty! Haven't you heard anything about the junior Basu of Basu Publications falling for her?This is no exception!'

' These are just rumours.'

...

After office:-

Prerna was wrapping up when her intercom buzzed.

' Yes. Prerna Sharma speaking.'

' Miss. Sharma, you have to report in Mr.Bajaj's cabin before leaving today.'

' Okay.'

' May I come in, Sir?' Prerna knocked on the door of her Boss's cabin.

' Come in.'

' Miss Sharma, here, take this phone. It's for official use.'

' Umm...Okay Sir.'

She came home...

As soon as she came home, a cushion landed on her face.

' Ouch!' she yelled.

The tired birds who were on the porch of the house flew away when they heard the yell of Mahesh, who got his ear twisted by Prerna.

'Priyu Di, Aapka office Kaisa tha?' asked Shivani.

' Mera boss...Agh! Ajeeb aadmi hai. Bipolar disorder hai unhe!'

' Huh?'

Rajesh lifted up his eyes from the reports and asked.

Prerna narrated the happenings at her Office.

' Wow, Di! Aap PA! Mithaiyan baanto!' said Mahesh.

'Di, Aapka boss dikhne mein Kaisa hai? Handsome hai na?' Shivani asked, dreamily.

' Umm. Dikhne mein toh Accha hai...But he is too rude! Ruthless!'

' Don't judge a book by it's cover, Priyu.' said Rajesh and again focused on the reports.

Shekhar came home, running, with the evening newspaper.

' Ma, Baba, yeh Kya hai? Aap humpar bharosa nhi karte Kya?

' Kya hua, Shekhar? Tu Itna hyperactive kyun hai?' asked Veena, coming out of the Kitchen.

' Ma, Baba, Aapne rooms-on-rent ke liye advertisement Diya newspaper mein?'

' What? Why ma? Why Baba?' asked Prerna and stood up.

' Beacause we don't want to be burden on you two. You two already manage the expenses if Shivani and Mahesh. Plus Shekhar is going to marry soon and after a year or two, Prerna will also marry and leave us.' said Rajesh.

'You are never a burden on us, Ma and Baba!' Shekhar said.

He continued,' Meri Shaadi hai toh Kya hua? Ma- Baba Biwi se zyada important Hain.'

' Plus, main aap logon ko chorkar nhi Jane wali hoon. Mujhe Shaadi nhi Karni!' said Prerna.

She turned around, and was about to storm away, when she bumped on someone.

'Ouch!' Prerna rubbed her forehead to lessen the pain.

Veena- ' Arrey, Anurag beta? Tum yahaaan?'

' Woh kaka Babu se kuchh kaam tha.'

' Haan, baitho na beta...'

Anurag gave a slight smile to Prerna and others and sat on the sofa.

Prerna went upstairs, in her room, to change.

The smiles of Both Anurag and Rishabh was freezing her brain.

' Yeh Kya ho rha hai tere Saath, Priyu!'

She slapped herself in her mind for this.

Tears rolled down her cheeks at the thought of 'Marriage', which her mom said a few minutes ago, downstairs.

Her eyes fall on her favourite Teddy, gifted by her Rishu.

She hugged it and sat on the divan, beside the window.

Meanwhile:-

Rishabh bent down on his knees as his daughter came running to her, as soon as he stepped inside the hotel room.

They embraced each other for a long time.

Rishabh placed sloppy kisses on his daughter's face, making her giggle.

' How was your Day, Princess? ' Cooed Rishabh, in a baby voice.

The girl nodded positively.

The nanny of Kukki made her finish her dinner.

Later that night:-

Rishabh was reading a book for her when Kukki cuddled close to him on the bed.

' Awww. Meri princess ko papa ko hug Karke sona hai?

The little girl smiled and opened her arms for her father.

Rishabh smiled, kept aside his reading glasses and the book and put Kukki to sleep.

At that time...

Prerna was busy with her files.

' Priyu, doodh.' said her Mom and handed her a glass of milk.

' Thanks, Ma. Waise Anurag yahaaan kyun aaya tha?'

' Woh unse koyi office related kaam tha. Kisi naye industry ke baare mein.'

Prerna gulped down the milk in one go and asked,' Ma, Baba ko bolo na retirement Lene ke liye. He is old now. And we are grown ups. Main kab kharcha utha lungi apne kandhon par.'

' I told him to. But he didn't listen to me. Said that till his last breath, he will be always beside Basu Publications.'

Prerna shrugged off her shoulders and focused on own work. Veena went away.

Meanwhile, in the the Basu Bari:-

Anurag was sitting in the hall with his dad and elder sister.

Moloy- ' Rajesh se baat Huyi?'

' Haan baba. Our suspicion is true. Some of our products are of bad quality. Plus some of our employees are betraying us. ' replied Anurag.

' Prerna ke jaane ke Baad company se koyi accha, bafadar employee nhi bacha hai, Rajesh ke siva.'

' Prerna Kyun gyi... Well, I am happy for her. She is very sweet, and beautiful. Beauty beside Brain.' said Nivedita, going through the files.

' Yes... Very beautiful and sweet.' said Anurag, dreamily.

Anupam bursts out laughing.

Moloy smirks while Nivedita is agape.

In Their hotel room...

Rishabh puts the comforter on Kukki and comes out of the bed.

He sat on the with the evening newspaper.

His eyes fell on the advertisement given by Rajesh.

Smirking, he dialled a number on his phone.

Rishabh is so particular about time and kab kya karna hai . Lunch time mein lunch and kaam time mein kaam.. Prerna is good at her work tooo unlike the clumsy prerna in the show.. usko kaam krne ko mila and she failed miserably..Like Nivedita said- beauty with brains.. i somehow imagined a different face while reading the story, show wali Prerna didn't fit in here 😆

All the projects are now shifting to BI and only the manager is shocked.. Basus- how could you all be so ignorant . Making bad quality products and still expect businesss.. bhai work on your products first..
