Yes. It's a new one. Recently, she has started to wear this ring on her left finger.

i also heard sid has a contract signed with the channel in which he can request to have certain footage cut out. thats why sana keeps saying "why arent you saying it now , scared of the camera"

also explains his confusion regarding the airing of the cigarette scene, he probably forgot to point to a camera and say cut.
