Hello All,
I have been following this show from the begining and so far we can see Maya's 3 (Maanvi, Maya Jaisingh and Maya Rudra Roy) as having parallels in the 3 major form of Adishakti.
Maanvi as Sati
The Goddess of marital felicity and longetivity, Sati was almost conditioned to fall in love with Shiva by Brahma and Narada as they hoped to turn Shiva to the path of a householder. To win Shiva's heart, Sati performed severe austerities and forsook all material comforts. However, in her love for Shiva and her happiness at winning his heart, she didn't notice that her father was not as happy with the wedding. When not invited for the Dakshayagna, she rationalizes it by saying that an invitation is unnecessary for a daughter. And when the truth of her Daksha's disdain for Shiva is revealed, she is angered and the Adi Parashakti in her awakens, consigning her mortal body to flames, setting of a series of events that lead to Daksha's destruction.
Simillarly, Maanvi was conditioned by MJ to fall for him, a path that she walked out of a combination of love and naivete. When everthing comes crashing down, she will rise from the resulting flames as Mahakali.
Maya Jaisingh as Kali
Kali, said by most to be the most powerful form of Adishakti, was created by combining the collective anger of the Gods to combat the demons Chanda, Munda and Rakhtabeej. However, despite her strength, most legends involving Kali also recount her bloodlust. When Kali is overcome by this bloodlust, only Shiva can calm her down.
When Maya was reborn from the ashes of Maanvi, she had a single mission, to destroy all those who wronged her. However, in her quest for revenge, she ends up destroying Rishi, an innocent bystander. The only thing that put a halt to this crusade was Rudra. Just like Shiva calmed Kali by lying down under her feet, Rudra's love and surrender will act as a moderator for Maya's quest.
Maya Rudra Roy as Durga
Believed to be the purest form of Shakti, Durga was generated by the Gods to protect the innocent and punish the guilty. It is Durga who establishes Dharma, for the victory of good over evil.
As Durga, Maya has no longer given up her quest for vengence, however, she is now tempered by her love for Rudra, and now hopefully, she will pursue justice instead of vengeance.
