I despise Mahira's attitude but I don't think people will care this much. All she did in that recent punjabi video was to make a wierd pouty face and flick her hair to the side. Her input to the industry, however nonsensical, is pretty small.

Had she been the singer...maybe things would have been different. People don't care about the models. There might be some troll posts on her videos but apart from that- well people forget.

As for tv shows, she had been getting these bratty sideroles where twisting her expressions were enough. Personality is obviously the same so I am sure there was no acting involved lol.

I don't see her getting any lead roles though.

Half the people in the punjabi industry can't speak hindi half as good as shehnaaz can. Atleast she is trying.

Also imagine it this way rashmi desai is sooo popular, done so many serials. Lets say she got involved in some controversy and with new comer mahira sharma. Who's gonna get the backlash mostly??? mahira cause she's new period.

Same way this works in the punjabi industry, regardless of sana vs himanshi, sana is (now more than ever) and was a popular face in punjab and now mahira (who is relatively new) is messin with her.

I don’t think that Mahira Sharma will be facing backlash because she’s new, the reason for disliking her is that she has been very disrespectful towards Rashmi who’s a senior in industry. When industry people see such behaviour on reality tv, they want to avoid working with that person. Rashmi, on the other hand has never been disrespectful, she’s shown dignity and class even though when her whole personal life was messed up on tv. Mahira is so full of herself, just by working for a short time in industry, the arrogance has gotten into her head and such people cannot be idols for anyone. If you are successful, u don’t go out and scream about your popularity, Mahira thinks that she’s a star and nokne can match her, her vile beahviour and double standards make me dislike her to the core. I still can’t forget how she called Rashmi a Pomeranian doggie.
