Whose success was a bigger fluke?

The 2 movies worked mostly bcoz of the content, and not the stars is the generally-held opinion. Shahid Kapoor has mostly delivered duds in his career and Vicky Kaushal also has little star-power to boast of. So, which movie's success was more of a fluke? After all, one swallow does not make a summer.

Uri, isn't fluke, it was expected to do well. Nationalistic themes work well everywhere in the world. Generally citizens love their country, so such themes connect well.

How come someone's years of hardwork & persuvernce (Vicky) & a patriotic very well made film (uri) can be termed as fluke ? and can even get land slides votes.

Can only happen at IF.

But a toxic mysogonist empty movie's success can very well be a case of fluke, and also of an actor who hardly saw success in his career.

As I said earlier can happen only in IF world.

Its not fair to give entire credit for success of Kabir singh to story. Id say shahid outperformed the script. With other actor, whether its arjun or Ranbir I don't think the movie wouldn't even earned half of what it did now.

On the other hand, Uri would've became a hit with any guy as a lead. No one talked about Vicky after watching uri. Story and direction was the selling point. meanwhile for Kabir singh it was totally opposite.

Arjun reddy was also a big hit so no surprises there

Will see only when these actors release more films 🤣
