So when reality hit her & she saw that guy slipping away from her she started behaving over. We can call out all we want but honestly it's not easy at all . That's why I am not fond of up with one sided love stories . We thought about one Character don think about their self respect and all but don't understand their psychologically totally.

I am pissed off with her because she is disrespecting herself but I honestly feel bad for her too . But at the same time I am happy because today's heartbreak is very less than the future happiness she will get .

If she would have stuck in this marriage it would have ruined her life more & maybe that marriage would have ended more toxic way. So it's better it ended like this .

BTW it's commendable how makers slowly developed Maya's character graph to this level of psychosis. In the earlier episodes, the seriousness of her problem wasn't too clear until she killed Rishi and justified it for her goal.
