SMRITI FAINTS!!

Smriti Irani, the television actress who made the character of Tulsi Virani a house hold name in the country, fainted due to exhaustion on the sets of her show 'Teen Bahuraniyaan' recently.

She was immediately taken to hospital where doctors advised her to take rest for a weak from her hectic schedule. The actress shoots half of the day for Zee's serial and rest of the day for 'Mere Apne' being produced by her own production house.

However, this multi tasking on the part of Smriti took its toll and she had to leave the shooing in the middle and take rest to the distress of producers and channels of her serials and shows. However, after getting back in good health she returned to shoot for the Zee's 'Teen Bahuraaniyan' this Monday.

It may be recalled that Smriti Irani is playing the character of Vrinda maasi in Zee TV's show and the role entails her to protect the three bahus from their scheming mothers-in-law. And in protecting the bahus, Smriti uses the method of Krishna that he used in Mahabharata and around the philosophy of tit for tat.

However, after Smirti's entry in the show others have been complaining that the entire focus had shifted to Vrinda maasi and there was precious little to do for them in the serial. One of the bahus, Manva Naik, who played the character of Manji in the show, has left the serial on this ground.
