Few months back my father met with an accident, when I heard the news I was literally ready to take any flight so that I could be next to him unfortunately ( Sorry my angles) have my young daughters to look after, so it was hard for me to get to him the next minute, I got the news. I had to bear the pain for a week. All I did is just spoke to my Idol lord ganesha... because I too don’t share my sorrows to anyone so I just lay it infront of the Ganesha.

Take care and I will pray for your father’s recovery. Stay blessed.

No formalities between friends and this is our family too, right Jayu.

Every women is a Phoenix Jayu, they can rise from the ashes. However, it needs to be identified. All you need to tell yourself is you’re strong and you can handle any situation . Unknowingly, you would be have become strong. 😀

I know how it feels when it comes to Parents health... Big hugs to you dear and my wishes prayers for your dad! So happy to know doctor's are positive about his recovery!! Everything will be alright 🤗

Yeah, I am the same way. I love sharing happiness but I am never able to share my pain or sadness... For me, I feel like pain is my very private emotion, something personal that only belongs to me and so I am unable to share it.

And it's true... when you put things in perspective, things start to look not so bad. Life teaches you to take a pause in between and be thankful for what we have! Lots of positive vibes to you and Stay blessed 🤗

Moni, thanks for sharing your story with us 🤗

I am sure it must have been so hard for you to not be with your father at that time... life really tests our strength and resilience at times.

I too find it very difficult to be so away from my family at times... like literally at the opposite ends of the world! You learn to deal with it, but part of you always long to be near them!

Do you live in India?

Oh my God,i can totally relate to you as i have gone through this. Last year we got to know that my Dad has kidney probs. Saare tests reports mei saare parameter kafi high the. The most critical one CREATININE which should be in between 0-1,it was reached 6 at one point. We had to admit him in hospital and he was under observation for 3 days. In those 3 days we consulted to 4-5 Nephrologists.. Kisine dialysis advice kiya toh kahin Biopsy tak challi gaye. Finally all the doctors were agreed to continue with the medicines only. But papa is and will always be under medication and under strict diet. He is okay now.

But Piya,Kidney related problems are for life long. Just cut all the proteins from uncle's diet. I am sure you must have consulted a good doctor. Please take care of uncle.

Sorry yaar... I can handle anything in life. But i can't handle when it comes to Mom & Dad,especially related to their health. I just can't.....

I am glad that your dad's condition is controlled by medicine alone. Dialysis can be quite uncomfortable long term... Diet and discipline does wonders! My wishes for your dad 🤗

Jayu, we all are strong in our own way. We only learn of our strength in extreme situations... shakti andar se aa hi jati hai! You have no idea how strong you are!! Stay positive 🤗

UK, cool! Where in UK?

My SIL lives in Birmingham. We are going to Wales this summer, her son is getting married there, fiancee is from Wales 😛

I live in LA, USA. And my family lives in Gujarat! Opposite ends of the world 😒

Yeah, it's always a struggle to be so away... but equally difficult to go back now. Once you settle somewhere for so long and have kids and all, very few manage to actually go back 😏
