If I didn't dislike him so much, I would find Shukla pitiable now- it is kind of fascinating to watch him as he slowly and surely loses it.

The way he lost it at Sana, the violence he wishes to inflict at Asim- he is also unravelling.

He's also losing his veneer and that is reflected in his looks as well with him now looking more coarse and oaf like.

True !

I mean Shukla was taking pride in the fact that he got up to fight a 26 year old !

Toxic masculinity is anyway prevalent in the society and this show is promoting exactly that!

Men like Shukla who feel that they are showing their power by bullying a 26 year old , such bullies are now apparantley hailed as heroes while the boy who had the basic sense of not getting up is being termed as a coward ! Such is the mentality of few and I pity them !

I really hope NO ONE ends up with a man like Shukla who think every one is beneath and the world should revolve as per his whims and fancies!

Asim the 26 yr old showed greater maturity than the 40 yr old Shukla.

And yes Asim is the hero here for saying no to violence.

😂😂 You have a way with words! 😂

It’s so ridiculous and concerning that the show did that. Made no sense either. I mean, such low depths of nonsense.

Bigg Boss is meant to be a game show, where you are not allowed to be violent. It’s a show where Salman gives feedback when BB deems you’re behaving in an uncivilised, horrible way.

So how does offering housemates to beat each other up, make them look good, like how? 😂 The one who stood up looked like an uncivilised gunda, and they the enablers.

Thanks 😆

These guys are clearly regressing - Salman looked so stupid making that offer and then Sid had to stand up and show that there's no fool quite like a violent fool.

So true!

Already there are these little tik tok videos floating around the internet, with teenagers recreating the personalities of their favourites. This is just the kind of entertainment we need when the society is becoming increasingly intolerant and agressive🤦‍♀️.

An influencial personality like Salman should have some sense about the audience of the show and the way his words could be interpreted. Wasn't violence from a person who is being glorified and hailed as a hero enough? Now you need someone like Salman to sanction it too by saying mein hota toh uth jata?

I hate how regressive ideas are being normalised by the entertainment industry. It is freaking 2020. We were promised flying cars and open minds... we got shukla instead😵

I couldn’t agree more. I mean it’s been one after the other of wtf moments with what BB has whitewashed, endorsed and propagated this season, but yesterday just took the cake. Wasn’t it bad enough that Shukla is threatening Asim and asking for permission to hit him right in front of BB and BB proceeds to baby the man?! Nope - they needed to go 10 steps further and invite people to commit violence on the weekend - come now, be “real men” and scratch your itch? 🥱

And the front runner for the trophy does what upon such an invitation? Gets up and says let’s go. This is the definition of a man? Gosh - Shukla is the worst representation of what a man should be.

And manhood? What manhood? A man that has no self-control, needs a woman to control his violent and abusive impulses, threatens and commits violence on a whim, and has no qualms about it, has zero maturity - thinks he’s always right and has no remorse for anything, and has no difficulty in character trashing a woman he’s been sharing a bed with for months on TV - that’s a real man? LMAO.

Tu bahar mil mujhe, mujhse bach gaya to Paras dekhlega tujhe, and us-se bach gaya toh Parag dekh lega” - this, to BB and many others, is the definition of a real man, a good man, a strong man. In my world - that’s how gunde talk - and woh bhi roadside waale.

And for all of those who say this is simply entertainment and everyone takes it as such - have a chakkar around SM and see how many find this man and his gundagiri as “macho” and oh so “cool” and “real” and the definition of what a man should be. This is what BB and Sallu have propagated courtesy their choice of front runner this season. And I don’t believe they’ve fallen lower in any season I’ve watched.
