Because just before Asim said this, Sid said something which was beeped. You can watch the episode again. I agree Asim too goes overboard sometimes but Shukla ne to saare hadde tod di hai. No one can and no one should justify his pathetic actions.

Sidharth and Asim's words get beeped. Nothing new. Just like Sidharth is wrong for going on family, Asim is wrong for taking off his shoe and telling Sidharth to lick it. He then told him he will hit him in the face with his shoe, to stick his tongue out. When Sidharth did, Asim couldn't even follow through with his words.

If I have to go by your logic, then probably Sid said something which pissed him off...to usne jutta dikhaya..fine he is wrong! But Shukla jitna wrong na Asim tha, hai ur na ho sakta hai.
