Sometimes it’s just that simple

So after all the upheavals and bad timing and missed opportunities, finally Abir and Mishti spoke directly to each other today 😆

Who knew that all it would take was the news of an accident for Mishti to brush aside everything and go running to Abir. Lol faltu mein itna time waste kiya in doing drama in every ceremony, Abir 😛😆....pehle hi accident fake kar leta toh bahut pehle baat ho jaati. Lol

Jokes apart, the scene came out so well 👏. The instinctual aspect was again the most beautiful part of it. Mishti frantically looking around for Abir and when he shows up and simply opens his arms, she goes running into them....no questions asked. In that one moment, everything else dissolved away. The need for solace superseded everything. Only they can give solace to each other like that. And that solace was the first step in unlocking this tangle between them.

First there was her relief that he is ok. He was relieved too to finally have Mishti back in his arms. It was like life poured back into both of them again. Then came her anger when she realized there was no accident. Lol and instead of feeling guilt for the tactic, Abir countered with asking her why she showed up in a panic anyways. And that set the tone for finally unfolding the long overdue truth to Mishti.

I’m struck by how the writers manage to make AM have these atypical and almost surprisingly simple and straightforward convos for an ITV couple. Lol usually this convo would have been dragged onto a mandap drama and last minute confession. I’m pleasantly surprised that they managed to talk it out before that and I loved how the scene just flowed from that moment. Mishti’s relief in knowing the truth and the way she instantly cuddled into his arm picking up right where they had left off....with him saying “Tum angry ho, violent ho, chorni ho? Toh phir tum meri ho” 😆......The natural aspect of the scene and the convo was a big plus.

Mishti’s first reaction was pure instinct as she realized that her faith in her love won after all....and that is why she was cuddling into Abir with that relief. It was only later that she remembered the complications now with Nannu in the mix. Lol

But this scene was pitch perfect. Great job by Shaheer and Rhea 👏

Poor Mishti wondering for the nth time why Meenu hates her so very much 😆

And Nannu as expected turned out to be an insecure loser.....yeh toh hona hi tha. The usual fate of every third wheel on ITV. Lol Meenu ko ek aur pawn mil gaya for endless plotting and planning. Kunal out and Nannu in 🤔😆

Precap looks like the apology from Abir will continue into next week as Mishti struggles with the complication she is now stuck in.

Story is at an interesting turn now. Hope the team can manage to execute the bhaag ke shaadi dhang se 🙏😂

The scene came out very well and the simplicity of that scene made it even more beautiful! I too was surprised and relieved from the precap yesterday that the writers decided to clarify everything the day before the wedding... now this makes it an even bigger conflict for Mishti!

But I am so happy that Mishti knows now, and it was special because Abir was the one who told her the truth! She heard it from him... in simple words (no gol-gol baatein or shaayaris) and in true MishBir flavor!

Mishti clinging to him after knowing the truth was the highlight for me!

And you are absolutely right! The instinctual aspect elevated the scene to another level 👏👏

Writers have managed to bring the show back to it's original organic flow this week and I have truly enjoyed every single episode! BB can plan plot and whatever else she wants to do with Nannu, the fact that MishBir again have faith in each others' love has me ecstatic 😛

Shaheer and Rhea... natural and effortless! They just draw you in!

And special mention to Shah looking super hot in that blue shirt and white linen pants

Today's precap is interesting... I get a feeling that AM will probably make a plan to come clean to Mahs together. But BB will get something done to Abir to confine him to the hospital and meanwhile Mishti is again going to be made to think that Abir stood her up... but eventually she will learn the truth and will come running to Abir! Looks like next whole week will be shaadi probably...

I hope writers manage to surprise us again like they did with today's episode ❤️

Lovely write up as usual btw, you write too well!!

How may I address you?

I like your posts.. ❤️ Love how you pick up and describe some of the most unique and beautiful scenes.. This is what I find interesting in YRHPK too.. Amidst many of the the usual cliche dramas, there are scenes, dialogues, interactions that are very unique and unconventional as per out ITV standards.. They do many of the same things very differently which makes it worth watching for.. 😛

Great post like always:) Am honestly appalled that ppl are still finding faults with Abir/Mishti & coming up with reasons to justify Nishant/BP or maybe even Meenu in future. Nishant may not be evil if he doesn't team up with Meenu and introspects after this but he is clearly resorting to misguide Mishti & Abir. He is taking decisions on her behalf and deciding what is good/bad for her. BP is doing the exact same thing. What they are forgetting is that Mishti is an adult. Good/bad, marriage is a huge decision and it should always be with the complete consent of the people involved. On the other hand, Abir-Mishti own up to all their mistakes and are literally paying for it every single day but its somehow still their fault 🤪

Hey thanks :). You can call me Anu or AY....either works.

I agree....the best part definitely was that Abir got to tell her the truth himself. It had seemed for a bit like someone else would talk to Mishti on his behalf but I’m glad the writers didn’t go that way and let this moment of truth be between AM directly.

One of the most distinct and noteworthy bits of this entire track has been Abir not trying to make excuses for his mistakes. He didn’t hide behind the excuse of the Meenu blackmail to justify his actions....he first acknowledged his own failures independent of whatever reason he had for giving in to Meenu. It was only later that he agreed that Mishti still deserved to know the truth regardless and so he told her. But he never used that as an easy leverage for getting Mishti to forgive him. That is what I liked here.

Abir is indeed quite a distinct character for an ITV ML despite the way the writers mess with him sometimes. But overall, his ability to accept and work through his mistakes is quite distinct.

Meenu toh apna usual nonsense karti rahegi, but yes, now that AM have come clean to each other, they will be stronger together regardless of upcoming challenges.

I keep my hopes low in general but yes, I would love to be pleasantly surprised by the writers too 🤞🏻😆....like they did pleasantly surprise me with the airport confession scene/mandir confession. It was so nicely done.

Let’s see if we get a good culmination to this shaadi drama too.

Thank you so much 😊

I enjoy writing about scenes that have substance and depth in them. As you said, this is what YRHP manages to do from time to time....they try to rise beyond the cliches and give a refreshing treatment, especially to Abir and Mishti as individuals as well as as a pair. They manage to be unconventional by ITV standards and that is what pulls me back to their story despite other unbearable psychotic crap like Meenu etc😆

Thank you, Brutus ji 😆

People are still blaming AM for everything? You don’t say 😲😆....And the sun rose in the East again....yeh toh normal hai ab 😆....There’s plenty of real life Kunals and Kuhus who will never sudhro and keep on projecting on AM 🤷‍♀️😂

BP is blinded in the protectiveness of a father, so it’s understandable that he’s not able to have faith in Mishti’s decision making right now. It’s helpful that his wife tries to give him perspective and point out how rushed this is atleast....but as a typical man, he will only understand when its time. Lol

Nishant also has an insecurity problem....he got carried away and has now started treating Mishti like a prized possession rather than a human being with the right to her own happiness. Once you start scheming with Meenu, you can’t be justified. Lekin yeh bhi aayega rota hua baad mein to beg forgiveness like Kunal one day I bet 😛😆

AM are compelling precisely because they talk through and work through their mistakes and personality flaws.....they work through the challenges in life and family. It enhances the depth of their love and adds conviction to it. Something very rare on ITV these days 😆
