As a viewer your right you can express your views and bash MJ for his misdeeds or whatever, but when it comes to Maya, I keep seeing comments like, if Maya is so good or righteous how could she let Rishi die? Please tell me why is she supposed to save his life exactly? Does she love him? The answer is no! Does she hate him? Not really, Does she hate MJ? Yes! The show is about a hatred that has no limits and this is also a clear example about that hatred and yes I do find it weird and funny that people are still asking such questions inspite of knowing the obvious.

This show is not about what Rudra will do if he came to know about his father’s misdeeds, it’s about Maya destroying the Roys including Rudra. Period

I am really surprised how Maya fans manage to do this 😆 When it comes to Maya, everything is expressed in terms of her perspective but when it comes to other characters, y isn't this courtesy extended to them? They are bashed left right and center to justify Maya and nobody seems to want to understand their perspective. Seen this hypocrisy in S1 and sadly the trend lives on in S2. Everyone is a culprit other than Maya. Wow!

U just stated y Maya killed Rishi and wants to kill Rudra. Then how come u can't see y Ananya did what she did? How come Ananya became selfish while Maya is not blind in her revenge? Even EHT was about revenge and hatred. But never did they show Durga killing innocents. Kill Bill is also about extreme hatred. But did the FL shed innocent blood? She killed those who came to attack her to protect her culprits. She did that in self defense. Had Rishi stood in her way to get to MJ and attacked her to protect his dad, I would still not say Maya was wrong. Ankit came in the way of her plan and attacked her. Which is y no one said anything when Ankit met his fate. Well u find it funny when people call out Maya for her actions and I find it insanely ridiculous when Maya fans support her evil deeds.

there was a revenge film titled I spit on your grave, the girl there is gang raped and left for dead. she survives then kills each of those men one by one. I'm sure there are more revenge thrillers with a similar theme.

Anyways, I've come to accept maya as she is. she has a warped view on life, and lost touch with reality long time ago. everyone is disposable to her including rajeev.

the problem is how she is defended and justified at every turn. Her past is the reason for her actions but not a justification. if this is how writers want to write maya then so be it, but there is no justification for spilling innocent blood. Unlike S1, S2 is not only about maya. A show does not run with only one character especially when you have other great characters. I'm tired of people saying beyhadh is only about maya. if that were the case, then Rudra would not have gotten a character arc. Please give other characters and actors credit.

Exactly yaar! I am not saying the makers should not have showed Maya killing Rishi. I am just saying why I can't agree with it. That's how she is. I like revenge thrillers for their plot. But in most of these stories, they do not justify the actions. I know everyone has their perspective but I am shocked to see how blatantly biased one can get. Seeing this from S1 also. I actually enjoyed Jenny's performance as Maya in S1. What annoyed me was how badly the other characters were bashed and it did not end there. These Maya fans spewed their venom in SM by trolling the actors. Its a story where u have characters. Characters have their own persona. Their own journey that shaped them. Its funny seeing how these characters are justified by viewers. I get it if someone tries to explain their perspective. I understand y Maya did that. She believed killing Rishi would make her even with MJ and she did that. But as a viewer do I have to agree with it? I understand but I cannot agree with it. Its funny to see how Maya gets vehemently defended and other characters are made to look bad to glorify her and my problem lies there. A story is never about one character and if it became that, it just ruins it. Though the twists and turns are lame, I like the fact that every character has layers here in S2. And is probably y I still continue to watch this show.

Ananya ( the character) is more annoying than Saanjheshwari. Kangan is cute, so I don't find her scenes unbearable.

if i thought someone is trying to harm my family.. i'd also do anything to save them 🤓 just because we are on maya's side doesn't mean we ignore reality 😆

@blue because she is the main, so she deserves that much because she will be receiving the most flak anyways, End of the story, I don’t have to be considerate about other characters because they are not the reason why I’m watching the show, similarly if you want to support others over Maya and justify whatever they do, it’s your choice. I know what I want and like, got a problem with it? Also when did I say it’s her perspective? I said it’s my perspective over why she did whatever she did, read the comment in case you missed it.

@bold because I hate her, do you want any other reason? if not please give up, I will not change my opinion about Ananya and I don’t have to either. To me she is an MJ minion and will always remain that way, so don’t bother trying to convince me that she is not.

@red you call it evil, to me she is just getting even. And a real monster like MJ deserves it. And come on this is Maya, everyone knows that she is capable of murder, so why are you surprised?

@green since you have cited examples of characters that went on a revenge spree, I’ll give you some example so of my own, although those characters were not out to get revenge, Damon from the vampire diaries, he killed a lot of innocent people but people still liked him over Stephan the so called good vampire who was responsible for Damon’s transition.

Then we have Yagami light from death note, he went on to kill criminals because according to him keeping them alive was a waste of time and resources.

Oh the latest example is Manyata from Naagin 4, she wanted to kill Dev the villains son even though he is innocent, but people still like her regardless.

You may not support them, doesn’t mean others have to do the same as you. Moreover these things actually do happen.

Children do end up paying the price for their parents sins and at times it’s with their life. So don’t bother explaining that what she did is right or wrong because anyone in that state of mind just wouldn’t care.

FYI this thread is about me hating Ananya, not about Maya and her actions. But yes if Maya were to kill her, I don’t mind.

No ones telling you to ignore the reality, it’s just that I don’t like Ananya. Yes if someone were trying to harm your family, you will do anything to save them, however the reason for her suspicions over Maya being Rishi’s girlfriend is pretty clear to me, she is jealous and deep down inside she is doing it is because she can’t see Rudra fall for anyone else.

Even though Ananya’s suspicions are correct, Rudra is also right about her, she is suspecting Maya out of jealousy only.

So in other words getting rid of Maya is basically something she doing for herself, perhaps it’s in her and MJ’s best interests and you still want me to believe she is not his minion?

Family friend? So what? Are you saying family friends can go and snitch about you behind your back? The way she reports about Rudra’s each and every activity to MJ just disgusts me. Who the hell needs enemies when you have friends like that?

You know even though MJ and the rest of the Roys are criminals and bad, at least they know who and what they regardless of the fact that they are projecting a clean image to the general public. But Ananya, she thinks she is an angel that is acting for the benefit of Rudra and the Roys. She wants to believe that her suspicions against Maya have nothing to do with jealousy while that is obviously not true.
