Thank you msainhjaung for giving me another perspective on Karan.
I was definitely pissed at him because he believed Mahira , but you gave me another angle. He believed only after he was reminded of what all he already believed preeta has done, in addition to mahira being pushed in hospital as well which had witnesses (no matter how wrongly it was misintepreted)
And yet, he was *regretting* why preeta did it because if we see it from his point of view, he chose to look past what he believes preeta has done to him and his family and still started to feel things may get better between them.
He doesn't know that preeta is innocent and despite that he wanted and was hoping things may get better between them. And amidst the chaos everything is thrown on his face yet again by Bua and the dilemma and mess has returned because he is still unaware of the truth and it was his conscious decision to bury the past.
I am not talking about the bad things that he has done because he himself doesn't acknowledge that what he has done was wrong. Whatever that I have mentioned above doesn't whitewash or justify Karan. It's all from his perspective and it's keeping his character intact.
Had it happened the way we hoped, would have brought sudden unnatural change in him.
