Maya Behen, tumse handle na ho payega..

I just have three things to say about today's episode alongwith a footnote for the writing team:

• I have to say it that Jennifer Winget is a fine actress and she gets the nuances of pyaarwaali Maya and khoon ki pyaasi Maya pretty well. The dreamy, lovable and longing look that Maya was fleetingly giving Rudra when he was defending Maya by saying that she feels his pain and worries only about him is snapped off by Rajeev's dialogues that remind her that it's entrapment. The way the actress switched her reactions from innocence and admiration to coldness and control was wow. She makes it easy to understand when Maya is faking and when she is not.

• Maya thinks she knows Rudra very well and he will die a foolish Majnu for her while she celebrates , but here's an observation. Men like Rudra are layered like an onion. You look at it - it's a pretty pinky purply cutie veggie. You start cutting it and it makes you cry rivers. Rudra is calm, collected and playful on the surface , but sometimes people like him often have explosive chaos inside them, that is passionate , intense and edges on insane emotions. Maya is inviting chaos by seducing and manipulating Rudra into falling in love with her. His intensity and the extent he can be passionate about her is going to weigh heavily on her. Sometimes you invite what you cannot handle. And it doesn't sit well if you are bordering on feelings for him , too. The way the story is going, Rudra will be Maya's nemesis. Not MJ. Maya is smart, calculative and manipulative. Rudra is intense, passionate and territorial. Think it over. Beta kisee ko pyaar mein phansaane mein aur phir uss pyaar ko handle karne mein zameen aasmaan ka fark hota hai. What Rajeev said for Rudra may actually ring true for Maya - Pairon tale zameen Rudra ke nahin , Maya ke khiskegi. It is inevitable for Maya to be in love with Rudra. Rudra is just so consuming. You can rarely fight a passion like that once it sets it's eyes on you.

• Ananya should be officially adopted by MJ uncle. Ye end tak MJ uncle ko nahin chhodhne waali. Saccha commitment yahaan hai. Rudra hai kaun, bro?

FOOTNOTE : Facepalm to all the technical jokes that the show played today. Last heard, all the techno experts are taking tequila shots to forget the nonsense they saw today. 🤔

Exactly, Maya bilkul kho jaati hai Rudra me. There are instances when she herself needs to be reminded, "Arre pagli, tu to katl karne aayi hai, pyaar me padne nahi". Rajiv kind of reminds her that when he steps in. I think Rajiv is able to gauge that Maya drifts from revenge land to la-la land and he brings her back from there, which she begrudgingly accepts.

Exactly, Rudra is already showing signs of Maya Mehrotra-ness, and then he tries to suppress it, but it's there. The way he was telling Anu, "usse sirf meri fikr hai, sirf meri fikr", it was bordering on possessiveness that too when he isn't accepting his feelings. What will happen when he does, is what I would like to know

Koi mujhe ye batao ki isko Rudra se shaadi karni hai ya MJ Uncle se? Rishi ne sahi kaha tha ek baar, "Bhai, easy, aap to Ananya ko aise dekh rahe ho jaise ye aapki hone wali biwi nahi, hamari hone wali stepmom ho." Waah Rishi, kya prediction tha tera yaar.😆

Thank you. I can't believe that the romance and drama part is so kickass and thriller part is so dumbass in the same show. 🤣

I can understand ananya's pov.. though her timing last friday was wrong.. but her concern today is not wrong..

maya has shown her sensitive and vulnerable side in front of rudra but not ananya.. she snubbed her always.. and suddenly was so keen to save rishi's gf today.. any sane person would find it strange..maya never gave any vibes to ananya that she can be trusted...

and she doesn't know any wrong doings of MJ... he is a family friend and known him since childhood.. naturally she will trust him more than this stranger..

now coming to rudra.. kya ho gaya hai iske dimag ko?? he is sure the girl was witu rishi when he committed suicide yet he never questions why didn't she try to save him or left him there to die.. cause no one was there when he came... kya bewakoofi hai aur kya illogical writing hai..

with rishi's death i thought this show is now gonna take a new high.. but now it seems they killed rishi's character just to create an emotional impact...

For some reason I am not able to quote the whole thing. I agree , totally. I don't think Maya will be able to kill Rudra when the time comes, and even if she does, she will die as well. This woman is falling in love with Rudra and this very Rajeev is going to throw it in her face very soon.

Rudra has that 'streak'. The way he used "sirf" in context to himself and Maya ; the way he panicked rather passionately at the thought of Maya leaving him, Maya is waking up a monster. This kind of intensity and passion , if the writers show it well , will throw Maya off completely. Maya thinks she is sanki. But i think it's Rudra who will show her later on what sanak actually looks like.

Ananya is MJ ki laadli and she proves it time and again. No wonder Rudra has landed in Maya's lap.

Ananya's concern is bang on , but the way she is putting it across is aggressive and confrontational, with both Rudra and Maya. She needs to put her jealousy and insecurity aside and look at the situation with sharpness and maturity. And Ananya doesn't know of the passion and emotion that has passed between Rudra and Maya ; that's why all this liptaa-chiptii is making no sense to her.

My comment on MJ and Ananya was in good humour. MJ uncle will stay an angel in her eyes until the facade doesn't come down crumbling.

Rudra ko kucch nahin hua hai. The writers have brushed his brains under the carpet so that there is no reason for Rudra to doubt Rishi's girlfriend and can stand against MJ. Creative license/liberty, they call it. What can one say, bro.

It was only for emotional impact, show Maya's dark side since they cannot show her harming Rudra right away. Rishi was the guinea pig.

Seriously even I thought after rishi death show is gonna change .. Also I don't know what they r doing with rudra. He was shown such an intelligent and strong guy. Now when he is sure rishi gf was with him, why he never doubted her as how she could let him die. I honestly got pissed off by him today for the first time..

I feel MJ is good enough to analyse things, he guessed it right regarding rishi gf, but maybe he is not taking correct steps..

So so so true. Rudra is so intense. He is a tsunami. You can tease it all you want but when it's in full form you are most definitely going to be consumed by it. Maya is signing up for major trouble with this "game" which is clearly not just a game anymore but has started to affect our Killer Queen. And the day he will find out about Rishi and her real motives he will be a bigger threat to her than MJ has been yet. But will their mutual feelings unite them? Time will tell..

Btw I found it hilarious how Rajeev was egging Maya about killing Rudra and reminding her of the mission but am sure Rajeev has observed her growing affection for Rudra too. Hope he acts as her voice of reason at the appropriate time or will it be her heart😳?

As you said the Romance and Drama is A+ but the thriller aspect🤪

You know what? Adopt ka to nahi pata but MJ should definitely hire Ananya and kick out Amir.. Amir muft ki rotiyan todta hai aur kuch nahi.. Ananya is intuitive just like MJ and she is asking all the right questions, jealousy aside, but she is not being smart about it. Her motivation is not right maybe that's why she is presenting the case and the evidences the wrong way.. ''Tu mujhpe nahi is Maya pe bharosa karega Rudra''?? is not gonna help her case. Dil se nahi dimag se kaam leti to she could have and can still tighten the noose around Maya's neck, which will be interesting to watch. Also her blind trust on MJ may seem foolish but it is relatable.. Rudra never told her the reason for his extreme hatred for his dad..In public she always saw MJ being concerned about his family and Rudra lashing out at his dad for no apparent reason so why wouldn't she trust MJ over Maya who is so cryptic and gives all the wrong vibes. Rudra infact is coming across so stupid right now.. Its so strange that it never occurred to him why Rishi's gf fled from the terrace leaving him to die alone. I can understand that Rudra might think she got scared and maybe doesn't trust the Roys hence didn't contact them.. but aisa kesa pyar yaar ki bf mar jata hai and you don't even bother to show up? Plus Rudra's sudden trust on Maya is a bit off place to be honest.. why isn't he even one bit curious as to why would Maya be interested in protecting Rishi's gf from MJ? Seems to me that his attraction towards Maya has made him completely blind to simple plain facts.

So far Maya has had a pretty easy walk in the park kinda siuation..It was very easy for her to win Roy brothers trust and then make them dance to her tunes..though with Rudra its heading to a totally different zone because Rudra is obviously not Rishi..plus Maya is herself unsure about her feelings when she is with him..she never knows when ''the Maya JaiSingh'' mask slips and we get to see the vulnerable Maya.. Jennifer does make those transitions with perfect ease and panache.

P.S- I think the actress playing Antara is doing a pretty good job at displaying the emotions of a mother who lost her son.. hers was the reaction that moved me to tears the day Rishi died.. her no make up look is great, I wish they had given her less dressy and glamorous sarees/blouse and hairdo to add to that effect..make it look more realistic
