I predict Vidya Balan for Mission Mangal.

There are no strikingly exceptional performances this year, one that stands out.

I would want Taapsee to get recognized this year. She has been working for the last 4 years and producing good work, which always goes unrewarded.

Just in 2019 she delivered with Badla, Saand ki Aankh, Game Over (and Mission Mangal in which she didn't have a big role but she was part of yet another women oriented successful film, so, it counts).

Kangana should win for Judgmental but she obviously won't.

You forgot Ayushman as Pooja from Dreamgirl lol😆

Jokes apart, he should definitely win Best Actor this year, but I've a feeling tht the award might go to Ranveer for Gullyboy.

As far as actresses are concerned,

Vidya: I don't want her to win this time. She has become a safe option for Filmfare. I like her, but I want someone else to win.

Alia: I don't think she was that good in Gullyboy.

Priyanka/Bhumi: I have a feeling that one of them will win the critics Best Actress award surely, most likely Bhumi. It's really sad that good films like The Sky Is Pink and Saand Ki Aankh/Sonchiriya failed to perform well at the BO.... otherwise they could've won the award in popular category.

Kangana: She won't win in popular category. Manikarnika barely got the hit mark. JHK was a semi-hit.

Taapse: It could really be Taapsee's year, considering Badla was a huge commercial success in terms of ROI.

Rani: If Taapsee doesn't win then, I want Rani to win.

Yami: She definitely deserves a nomination. But I don't think they'll let her win.

Chapaak failed minting money does not mean Deepika's name should be avoided..

She was not mind blowing, but she was clearly very good in chapaak as a performer, and deserves a nomination/mention forsure.

There's no "my logic" here.Historically, Filmfare has rarely awarded popular category award to a actors for commercially unsuccessful films.

P.S. I like Deepika and liked Chapaak too.😆

I suppose Deepika wasn't included in the list, because the film released in 2020.

JHK - kanagana. But she won't come so she won't be even nominated.

Viday was also good but it was a multistarrer so don't know how that works.
