Paras' mom saying that 36 ayegi aur jayegi, par mein tere liye (shaadi) ke liye ladki laungi ( sorry don't recall the exact words), is exactly what is wrong with how boys r given leeway to do anything, but once it comes to marriage r expected to marry their parents' choice. That dialogue was wrong on so many levels.

Anyways I did feel bad for Mahira, the way Paras'mom totally ignored her. She was clearly hurt n teared up too n was even asking others about his mom's behaviour towards her.

Reinstates the facts that kids get at least some of their habits and character traits from their parents.

Shehnaz's 24 hours game sense came from her father who too was all about her game and her popularity. Similarly if Paras's mom bad mouths a girl who has been a rock for her son, it tells you where Paras got his filthy mouth and habit of degrading women (Zariwala, Rashmi etc) from. Anyway won't comment anymore before watching the episode.

Yes what his mom said about mahira was in bad taste, but I dont feel sympathy for mahira bcoz she is the other woman in this relationship, aunty is very cool for supporting akanskha over chipkali and reprimanding paras.

Well Paras too has been contradictory regarding his GF outside.

Also that 36 girls' comment was in bad taste.

Chipkali deservres it because when her own mother was giving her good advice, she was not listening instead she was siding with Chabra

I dont like Paras or Mahira but I loved the way he defended Mahira and refused to give in . He stood his ground ..about Mahira.. without 'disrespecting' his mother. Thats an admirable quality in a guy.

His mum seems like the type who's into emotional blackmail when hukoomat doesnt work
