I think the problem is, Rashmi wanted to be with Lakshya Lalwani who is ten years younger to her and her family did not approve it. So she left her family for him. This is what I heard. After that Arhaan, so may be her family is not in talking terms with her.

Gaurav, the guy who came to meet her, is apparently her cousin. The nephew and niece who came yo meet are her elder brother's kids.

as for the kids they sent, another move to make rashmi seem likeable and get sympathy so thats fine i guess, but i really dont want to see rashmi winning after doing nothing all season. she has brought nothing to the show.

I read the original plan was for the mother to come but the makers last minute decided that the kids should come for better TRP n narrative shift.

Rashmi gets love of her fans but not the love of her own people that one actually needs to survive. Its like the ocean..water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.
