Probably the movie will portray stories from two timelines, one will be from 1990 and another will be from 2020. That makes it 30 years apart, not 50.

So this is how it is these days first we get punjabi songs released two years ago and then a movie only released a decade ago (ok kids 10 years is not that far back) being recreated both which are fresh in peoples minds.

Anyway I hope they both do good. Especially hope to see Kartik differently.
