Prediction : Panga vs. Street Dancer

Panga seems like a far superior product than Street Dancer, in all respects. I feel Kangana is back in a relatable, girl-next-door role, something different from headstrong and/or lunatic characters. The movie also gives very refreshing vibes.

I feel Street Dancer will open well but crash, like Kalank. Panga will sustain. It might do as well as Bareilly Ki Barfi, because the director is really talented. I have seen both her movies and can vouch for the same.

Street Dancer seems average on all fronts- music, even dancing is not that great. Varun seems to be stilted.

Actually, it all boils down to Varun's star power vs. Kangana's star power. And though Varun will get the opening day collections, Panga will sustain by WOM, because it seems like a really nice movie.

Panga will Flop

Panga is a boring chick flick. Women who are into the fake "empowerment" fad will go watch it, husbands and boyfriends will get dragged to watch it and put on the spot to say they like it.

But it is the same old boring struggle to become fit/success tale. Nothing new, nothing that has not been done or gets done every single day by hundreds of athletes that train every day. Having pushed out a kid, does not make it special, lots of successful female athletes are moms.

Both will flop badly and Varun will go into further depression which will darken his fake abs further with more contorting than Kangana's fake personality.

seems like Street Dancer songs are sticking so the movie should work out.

I think both will do average. Would give more credit to Kangana and Panga, though. Seems like a decent story even though it has been done before. Street Dancer looks like will cater to lowest common denominator, which... sigh... works.
