I feel Asim fans are falling for channel's trap

Many have lost their hope, or are thinking negative, few have stopped watching....Asim's chances are going down as per since his fans are not creating a buzz and the way his fans have got demotivated

SAD ! This is what I was afraid of...Not coz of Asim but coz of his fans...It's not Asim who got demotivated BUT his fans who have given up

Look at the forum for example....How many Asim fans are active here ?

On twitter we are losing polls (though by small margin) BUT earlier we were winning

Vikas Gupta is now openly urging fans to vote for SidNaaz and make them reach finals

All I am seeing is Asim fans thinking of worst case scenarios , or giving up

NOT A GOOD SIGN....I guess many have already have fallen in channel's trap.....This was supposed to be a crucial stage for Asim and his fans should have been MORE VOCAL AND ACTIVE THAN BEFORE...But it's not happening ..At least this is what I feel

Yes even I agree! Where are the Asim fans here in the AT? Have you all given up too ? We used to have so much discussion by this time till yesterday but now all is so dull

First of all, I wanted to say that I really appreciate your posts Anshvi. I love reading your observations and you’re always so positive which is exactly Asim needs from all of his fans right now.

The channel is going to whatever they want to do and there’s nothing we can do about it, so I think the best thing to do is accept that and continue supporting Asim anyway. We KNOW they’re cutting out his scenes, we KNOW they’re not giving him any preferential treatment, and that’s going to continue for the next month too. So despite all these setbacks, we have to prove that it won’t demotivate us and keep us from being there for Asim when he needs us.

There’s only two options right now which is to: give up completely (which won’t benefit anyone) or to show our support for Asim even more and see where that takes him.

I’m still throwing my support behind him to be the winner or at least in the top two, nothing less.

BUT if that doesn’t happen, I don’t think we should feel sad or believe the show was pointless because think about everything that he’s accomplished so far - he has hundreds of thousands of fans, respect and support from people in the industry, multiple accolades, etc. and all of that is from JUST being a contestant. Regardless of whether he holds up the trophy or not, he’s achieved so much and has such a bright future ahead of him.

There’s literally only ONE month left; Asim has already made it through some really difficult moments, and what we’re feeling is so minimal compared to what he must be going through.

So for these last four weeks, we should do whatever we can for him. If he wins or gets in the top two then that will be AMAZING. If he doesn’t - at least we didn’t give up on him, and we can look forward to all the amazing things he’s going to do.
