Is it really necessary to spread hate? We are talking about our reaction to a certain person. Can't you see beyond your chosen one? Everyone has imperfections. I applaud Arti as she refused to take stand with either Sid or Rashmi. we have seen Rashmi spitting venom every now and then for Arti. Have you forgotten Asim Rashmi conversation where she clearly wanted to use arti to create a rift in the group? she lied point balnk but Arti did not make an issue or cry buckets.

@ bold That was what I was talking about..that is the problem. Why would she consider him a good friend when he goes around sl ut shaming women or choking girls half his size? She was not running out of a safe space in that house..Rashmi who has been her friend for years was available . Other people were available. Its a strange coincidence that she found a safe person in the contestant that seemed to be the most popular or the most favoured. She parked herself beside him .and ignored terrible misogynistic actions by him for selfish gains and when she does such things to make herself happy she or anyone in her place should be questioned. I cant imagine any victim of such trauma finding it cute when similar scenes are being played out right before her eyes. She was not held at gun point that she had no other option but to keep quiet.

Again, we can't generalise these things! Are we really blaming the victim here? Cuz that's just going to defeat the entire purpose. Why is she expected to stand up against humanity and fight all odds to show that she's 'strong' and completely over it. The battles we fight inside us are as good as fighting the entire world. Let her come out of that first, then worry about everyone else? and LOL that too for Shehnaz who is well capable of defending herself and getting attention at the same time.

We don't know what their equations are with each other outside the house, so if she really felt Rashmi could be trusted and was safe for her, she would have stuck by her, but Rashmi only thought of her when her other options ran out so..

I do not support or encourage the shit that Shukla does with Sana in the house, or the shit that Shukla does in general, but my point is there are 8 other people in the house (few of them also victims of assault) who have not raised a voice against it. Heck, there are millions of people outside who are FANS and have named this new age violence 'Sidnaaz' instead of condemning it.

Let Arti be and let her have this moment without any judgements. 🤗

Arti is a sensitive soul, no doubt. It is indeed quite brave to open up about such a traumatic event on national television. Very courageous👍🏼.

But bringing Sid into this is very strategic I believe. This is the same guy she has supported over all other housemates (including a decade old friendship), and received nothing but disrespect in return. Even if I deregard all his actions, the tone he uses to speak to her reveals a lot about their friendship.

Moroever, I feel that although she doesn't shy away from diving into a fight and screaming her points, she remains quite afraid of confrontation, and ends up crying about it afterwards. Here I feel the COTW was spot on about her reaction to shukla. Fear of rousing his very very explosive anger and losing the stability he provides is a major reason for not speaking out against him.

So points to Arti for speaking about the incident but the picture is deceptive as shukla is most definitely not her friend.

No Im not blaming Arti for the rape attempt. Im blaming Arti for condoning behaviour similar to what she experienced and thats not victim blaming. Im judging her for that and I dont feel bad about it. As for the others in the house who havent raised their voices my judgement applies to them too but theres a difference..none of them supports Shukla as much as Arti does. In my opinion she does not deserve a pat on her back for coming out on this issue when she has been encouraging people who have similar attitudes ,whose actions have been more or less similar. She is a privileged woman with adequate finances and from what ive heard some support from her family. No amount of loneliness or nothing justifies the blind support she gave Shukla is all im saying. She has gone out of her way to downplay whitewash and justify Shuklas terrible actions and she has done her share of victim blaming.

Anyway lets agree to disagree on Arti's beautiful soul. 🤗

I dont know if you are referring to me..just in case you are- Im not spreading hate. I don't hate Arti. Its criticism. Since this is a thread about her there are going to be all kinds of opinions. I can definitely see beyond my 'chosen ones'. In fact my main problem with Shukla is the way he treats Arti and Ive said that many times on this forum. Lying about a game-strategy and condoning violent attitudes and actions towards women (or men) are not the same.

@ bold 1 She has . and it was always in favour of him which is what I was discussing earlier.

@ bold 2 No we havent seen that.

I may not like arti taking back seat for taking stands in this house.

But I have to say , it definitely takes courage to speak about it even in general forget national TV.
