They didn't even show what certain members wished for

Most probably ecause they might have refused to share, not everyone is comfortable sharing such sensitive issues and not everyone is shukla ji who will put his age issue at the same pedestal as the struggles mentioned by the housemates....

Certainly childhood is the key shaping the important aspects of your personality! Hence one can try and see from their perception where they come from.

I agree about giving benefit of doubt a few times but I also believe once you hit that adult mark, it is your responsibility to shape yourself where you may be lacking! Just becoz you had a certain turmoil in your life doesn't mean you get a free pass at being an a$$hole, aka Paras! .... I mean if you have gone through the tough life you'll should be more understanding and empathetic at others troubles.

Paras is someone who lost his father at a very young age. He's gone through the ups and downs of life yet has the audacity to put others down for their financial status and struggle! While Rashmi is just the opposite, trusting people easily - didn't let the negativity shape her personality! .... On the other hand Shukla has been brought up beating up his sisters without parents condemning his physical acts (- After years of prayers ladka hua hence he gets to be the spilt brat of the family kind of mentality on display) and here we are having to bear a grown adult man on TV who thinks violence is a mean to put his points across and women are means of providing him food and s*x who don't have the right to respect or dignity aka his continuous sl*t shaming of women on the show!

I truly believe childhood plays quite a role at one's personality but so do your experiences as an adult! If you don't start broadening your horizon after being educated you're hopeless and worthless and your actions are solely on you!

Yeah. But she shared her story when she was mocked in the past. Obviously she must have worked upon her language and other skills. But the mental trauma that she must have gone through in the past for being looked down upon etc is why she's what she is today. She has a long way to go and work upon her insecurities.

My post is just why these people behave the way they do. Doesn't justify their behaviour in any way

Thank you, I was really impressed reading your title post , that explains, Childhood is indeed the foundation for our future behaviour,.. based on what I read, Shehnaaz clearly didn't have a safe, protected Childhood, that probably is the root cause of many of the behaviours she exhibits, it gives solace to my heart, that there is someone besides me , who is able to look into her traumatic past, defining her present, especially given she is begging people not yo give her that tag and especially indulging in self harm to counter the agonising memories

I see patients who present with deliberate self harm cutting themselves to taking overdoses to numb the pain of their past, like abuse, domestic violence, rape etc ...

I'm confident once she has a secure career, and steady income, her insecurities will hopefully fade and she will be strong to face the demons/ memories from.tge past affecting her present ...

I wish the society behaves in much more civil way and has compassion and empathy for people suffering with MHI, it's a very long distant dream, the way I can see and understand , feels skin to stoning a person for MHI 😭

Thank you for your kind words too. Yes, all these housemates, infact all of us are a result of our past experiences. There are certain things so thickly engrained in our subconscious that we can't wave them off even if we want to. One has to work really hard to overcome these inhibitions and negative traits. For eg. Rashmi. That lady is too strong for what she's gone through. She's one of those who has been able to come out of her struggles beautifully.

Yes Sana must have suffered in the past, but she needs to learn to cope up with her shortcomings sooner than later, else life won't be too kind to her.

Coming to society we all judge people way too early. If we start embracing people with their shortcomings maybe they'll succeed in shedding their insecurities and fears too

Yes. Completely agree with your thoughts. Like I said in my earlier replies, childhood experiences either make you or break you. For some people like Rashmi, they emerge stronger and beautiful. And for some like Paras and Shukla (well I didn't know this story about him, thanks for sharing), they become bitter and want to shove the same treatment to others. This nowhere justifies their behaviour. Not everyone is successful in changing themselves, so they try to change others or impose themselves on others. These 2 have a long way to go. And you're right if they don't learn now they'll become a hopeless case in the near future
