But it's no one's right to tell people not to comment/ what not to comment/ how to comment.

Point Of having a forum like this is to entertain different point of views as long as they are expressed in a dignified way. I don’t see any thread mocking Sona. Criticism in a humorous way is fun. This show itself started satirical criticism of ITV and I for one was pulled into it only because of those initial episodes.

Op you can always make appreciation threads and I am sure there would be many many people concurring with your opinion and you well within your rights to do so. The problem with this thread is that you are telling people not to post their disappointment with Sona. There are lot of times that I have rooted for Sonakshi. I like seeing her in Saris when most don’t it is relatable to me while not so to many, but that is all right. We can agree to disagree with dignity and humility that is. Humor does not amount to mockery either.

@TM, since u claim to know all the members of this forum since beginning, I hope u have seen me as regular member here n I haven't been here since the wedding episodes n I have given the exact same reason for my absence that I don't want to spoil the fun of those who r still enjoying the show. So I hope I haven't offended you, though I also support the members who r expressing their negative comments since they too have a right to express what they feel. Since I also belong to the category of viewers who find Sona's behaviour parvatishly mahaan, I would like to reason it out.

First n foremost, Sona has this nature of poking her nose into other's business which irritates me to the core. She was always like that, e.g. wardrobe malfunction track, it kind of irritated me back then too. But then, the interference used to be subtle. It used to be once in a while incident. The show wasn't as high on drama n emotions forever. It used to have more of light moments. So the negative points < positive points. Hence people kind of accepted her like that n ignored what they didn't like. But now, her interference has grown to another level. In my opinion, even if she's family, she's not entitled to knowing every secret of the family. If others want to share it with her, they'll do. Otherwise she should mind her own business. Tanya too is a daughter in law of the same family, much before sonakshi. Still, she doesn't interferes in everybody's matters, she doesn't go overboard with this is my family, I'll keep it together n all that. See, veena has always kept this family together n she's always like my family is this for me n I'll do that for my family bla bla bla which kinda irritates at times. Nishi too has done a big thing to keep the same family together, but she never keeps talking about it, so her goodness doesn't irritate u. Same is the case with Sona. Even if she's striving for the happiness of family, she can do it without hampering the private space of the family members. She can get her space in the family with time. On their wedding day itself, Rohit had told her that it's a huge family, as much as they stay together, giving them their personal space is important too to keep the relationships good, u don't have to stand true to everyone's expectations. Sona can't understand this even now, that's what makes her parvati...when she wants to unnecessarily burden herself with the responsibilities of the whole world. Even now she's hiding from Rohit that somebody has listened their conversation. Again she'll wear detective's glasses n do what she likes without taking him into confidence.

Second thing is, u expect something specific from a certain show. Trust me, I watch every episode of kzk2 too. There I don't get annoyed by similar behaviour of prerna because I know I m going to get this only. But khkt had a different standard, it has set its own standards really high, though this was the nature of Sona always, she was different before their marriage, she would share things with Rohit, she wouldn't take the bulls*it of others for any reason. That's what made her lovable which she isn't since the wedding episodes. Sona's character has taken a drastic turn since wedding track, even u would agree.

Third thing is her dialogues. Like Rohit, even though I don't agree with her thought process, I do understand her reasoning behind every action. I understand her impulse. But they give her way too dramatic dialogues. Like the ones she said to suman in the pay cheque scene, the ones she said while talking with Rohit about her resignation, her reasons for wearing a saree, etc. Those cringy dialogues take away the essence of the scene n make it look parvatish.

Fourth, her looks. I don't say wearing a saree is out of fashion, behenji types etc. But tell me, is it realistic or practically possible? Which actress wears a saree 24*7? Forget actress, any xyz working girl staying in mumbai, that too in an area like Malabar hills? Is it comfortable to run around the house n do all the chores like an adarsh bahu in a saree n heavy jhumkas? The sarees r not trendy either...rather the blouses. What r those close neck full sleeves blouses these days making her look so old? As a TV actress as the female lead of this show, I expected a variety of outfits for her n what I m getting is a typecasted sarees which is parvatish for me. (I do not expect sexy short dresses)

And lastly, the acting of dipika. I was amazed to see her as a bubbly Sona but she's back in her simar mode...over dramatic n that shrieky voice...it's too much melodrama!

And something or the other out of this is happening in every episode...n that makes it whole lot of parvati drama!!

The main problem is that ki there are many Dipika haters here , so they are just taking out there frustrations here in the name of constructive criticism 😂 like in the above comment , in the end jab raha nahi gaya toh she just pointed out Dipika's acting , so no point in arguing with these haters , they're always ready to criticize her , seperate threads are made daily to bash her via Sonakshi , don't take them seriously , ab inhe itni mirchi lagi ki iss thread me bhi khud ko defend karne aa rahe h 😂

Excuse me, Ms So-called-dipika-lover? I hope u kept ur eyes open enough to read in the same sentence that I was amazed by dipika's portrayal of bubbly sonakshi before the wedding. I have praised her when she was good previously, n now when I don't like her, I never commented on that, I have kept myself away from the discussions in this forum in spite of having some really good friends here only for the reason that I don't want to spread negativity. After ages I commented on this forum cuz this thread questioned the choice of certain group of viewers of this show n I belong to the same group. Apart from dipika's acting, I mentioned several other things too.

So yeah...continue ur lover hater jealousy frustration etc drama...good luck with that👍🏼 I m too occupied in my real life to give a damn about such immature comments like hating an actress n all...hello? She is just an actress...just like any other actors...or even better, just like any Tom Dick n Harry. I don't know her n I refuse to feel any emotion for her...neither love nor hate. U keep loving her, worshiping her or whatever that makes u happy😊

Thanks for making me laugh by drawing conclusions n making this typical hater jealousy frustration types comment😆

Good bye! Agli baar Kisi aur pe try karna, spare me!😆

Very well said. I agree with everything.

I really dont get why they have made Sona like - interfering, mahaan, taking responsibility of solving everyone's problems even though no one asked her to, self sacrificing, never giving herself priority..who really enjoys such an unreal character? Who is the audience who likes to see such a portrayal? When Tanya has been in the family much longer than her and minds her business and goes about her work, why have they made everything revolve around Sona? Every issue somehow finds its way back to her. Like even now, why is Sona being blackmailed? Logically it should be Naren or Nishi or YK. Going by the story and the main players involved, it makes no sense to blackmail her. This just supports my theory that bulk of ITV women viewers like to see FL being given the most importance. Everything has to begin and end with the FL.

I agree with what you say that one expects such stupid tracks and treatment from most of the ITV shows. But this show set a very high standard at the beginning and really had the potential to be something unique, so the disappointment is much greater when they resort to cliched treatments.

Her dialogues are often quite cringey and irritating particularly the direct talks to the camera. And her clothes.. why do they want to make their own FL look so bad and older than she is? What is with these high necked full sleeved blouses? They do nothing for her. Which 28 year old TV actress wanders around the whole day in saris and heavy jhumkas?? I have never seen any TV actress, not even the married ones, dressing like this. Rather they are in shorts and dresses most of the time.

This is what really makes one annoyed, when they start off dressing her a certain way and it's fresh and different, and then bang, post marriage she is only seen in saris, mangalsutra and sindoor. If nothing else, its really boring to see her in the exact same look everyday. Why can't they vary her wardrobe with a mix of salwars, saris, tops and jeans, kurtis? That would be more realistic and identifiable.

Lastly, I dont get why everytime Rohit comes near her she says Arrey! in a surprised tone and pushes him away giving some excuse or the other. Why cant ITV show a woman accepting her husband's advances without protesting or even (shocking!) initiating the moves ??

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Exactly my questions

Every time Rohit comes near her she gives a look like she wants some one to interrupt ..

Hell what's this 29 yr old character ..who shuns from hubby ..

I have seen better to shows than this ..at least in those shows FL have a reason to avoid physical intimacy ..but still they show like FL is losing self control but here it is so ..stupid

Why she needs to avoid Rohit ..

And seriously what are these guys doing at night ..

Morning cellphone rings or some one calls but at night ???

What's preventing them to consummate at night

Why Rohit advances in her only when she gets ready to go for work or party

What's he doing at night

Stupidest show I have ever seen on intimacy ..this show is setting. New record..in itv ..love marriage mutual but no physical intimacy ..such a laughable OTT show

And coming to sarees ..I have seen many itv heroines wearing sarees but they wear it in a stylish sexy way ..see Anita hasanandibi blouses and her sarees ..SJ sarees in nagin3..how trendy the way they wear

Here Deepika saree outfits r so so outdated and she is wearing them in a outdated way

If we take in. Realistic way yes they can show her wearing yoga tights and loose shirt or jeans shirts or shorts shirts ..that's how many people look casusllly at home no one wears sarees all the time
