And I have to say if these writers think they wrote vedika as a positive third angle ..then they are as delusional as she is. Vedika did nothing for karthiks happiness...gosh she even didn’t like kairav...we saw her irritation with him in the last few episodes and she actually wanted naira to take kairav and disappear ...so she was going to let karthik be heartbroken all over again by denying him of his child. The writing in this whole track and especially of vedikas character has been so poor.

Vedika was suppose to be a three months cameo character. The wedding was never on the cards. Somewhere I feel the fans are to be blamed for this wedding. So much buzz was created around the wedding and would it and would it not happen, the trps were soaring, so the cvs struck while the iron was hot. They used the negative publicity for their advantage and kept increasing the episode count.

Once the wedding happened, the cvs ego was challenged further by the “RIPDKP” trends and the official complaints to IBF. Due to bigamy claims, Kaira were divorced in less than an episode and the custody track was introduced. It was mentioned that Kartik Vedika got their marriage re-registered because the fans kept mentioning the second marriage was illegal.

Rajan Shahi is an egoistic man who only cares about his show and increasing the episode count. It’s evident that he treats his actors as a money making machine and if they even slightly contradict him, he breaks ties with them, all under the pretence of “nobody is bigger than the show”.

Anyways, that being said, even the cvs seemed confused on how to wrap up Vedika’s character. It’s evident from the past few storylines that they were needlessly stretching her character because they didn’t know how to end the marriage by not showing anyone in a poor light.
As I said, it’s better for us if we stop discussing Vedika altogether. Her character was a dark spot and it has spoilt yrkkh’s legacy. It’s a hard pill to swallow for the makers but it’s the truth. I feel they ended Vedika’s character on a positive note (according to them), so as to still maintain the facade that Yrkkh is a positive show with no real negative character. Idk who Rajan Shahi & his team are trying to fool but all’s well that end’s well I guess. If believing that Vedika was a positive character & their show is still realistic and relatable, helps them sleep at night then so be it 🤷🏻‍♀️.

But anyway regarding vedika ..whether the wedding was planned to happen or not ..vedika always wanted to marry karthik. Dadi said so in the very first or second episode after the leap during the Goa track...that vedika loves kathik and has been expecting marriage in all the years, So yes vedika indeed had plans to marry karthik from the time she met him...🤷🏻‍♀️...but once she leaves the show ..we will probably stop discussing her. I think now we are still upset about the way she got away with all her bad deeds 🤦🏽‍♀️

I am not disagreeing with you, I am just trying to reason the cv’s stance and where they might be coming from when they say Vedika wasn’t a negative character or a vamp.

Idk if I am upset or not. I truly expected her actions to be justified, so I am not surprised. I find the scenario funny though. Vedika was subtly kicked out in the wee hours of the morning from the road itself. Poor girl didn’t even change from her night wear before walking out 😂😂.

Imagine the night before she must be planning on how to jump in the bed with Kartik and the next morning she’s thrown out by Kartik himself. I pity her at this point 😂.

Dude forget about Vedika’s deeds, what about Kartik knowing Naira came back after the accident? What about Naira knowing that she only heard part of Kartik’s conversation with Mihir? I am glad things are sorted between Kaira and they will finally reunite but these things were integral to the separation yet they were conveniently overlooked.
Kartik didn’t question Naira out of nowhere, there was a month’s worth of built-up. Wish they had touched upon Kartik’s inner struggle and self-doubt which led him to ask Naira that question. Naira had her own reasons of staying away for 5 years, she even came back to stop the marriage, but none of that was mentioned.
Everything was easily overlooked and it all became about Vedika, her insecurities/jealousy, her backstory which added nothing to the storyline, her cheap tactics to keep her marriage alive. Even Kaira’s wedding functions were ruined to cater to her useless feelings.

Anyways, no point in venting now. It will be fresh start for Kaira and hopefully the writers will get their sense of rationality back.

That was toh lost in every episode. There was no talk of how naira didnt ran awY first but after hearing kartik shouting at mihir... misunderstanding...no one mentioned how goenkS were responsible.. because of them in the first place misunderstanding was created... there was no talk of any real misunderstanding it was all about vedika...

I wish this would have turnedout better ...how i wanted both of them to apologise ...kartik telling naira how he was divided and on whT basis he asked her ..i want naira to tell him everything from the start...talk how people in real life do it. They clear misunderstandings. Sigh. How can be a show positive when misunderstanding and these big things are never cleared ???

If the leap is not happening in Feb, I do hope they show Kaira maturing as a couple, having proper conversations. Just imagine, even after everything, Naira chose to hide Vedika’s actions from Kartik because he might not trust her or what if Vedika finds out Kaira are on to her. If they didn’t want to punish her, why did they even need hard evidence?

As you said, somewhere the whole point of this leap was lost and it became more or less about Vedika. Yes Kaira were on the forefront but the story was being carried forward based on her character.
