Sona not went to Veena,Naren,Ajith,Pooja ,akash,Deepa,Nishi or Yk to ask is whether they have any secrects or not. She only ask Rohit about Secrets that also when situation arises. She every day not asking about secrets of family or telling opinion. And if you are sharing your opinion in every topic with your partner is represents your individuality only. She is not Veena to agree every point of her husband.

In 2020 also some people in TV industry take break from their career for marriage or leave career after marriage what ever the reason. Even dipika kakar also take break from her career for marriage. But now she is doing great job and getting lot of appreciation for portraying Sona character this much naturally. Sonakshi also continue her work because that is the main theme of this show.

You're telling Sona is not Parvathi. But why is Parvathi a derogatory word in your opinion? Because you associate Parvathi with larger than life attributes that we're seeing in Sona now.

Yes, before wedding she was loved because we could relate to her.

You don't need to say sorry to defend Sona. Even I tried ... but now its too many and too unrelatable that I have more connect with the Male lead 🤣

How many actresses have left work for a certain period of time after they got married..many! Many even gave interviews that they would never return to acting! From itv and also from bollywood! The reason they gave was that they needed a break..but do we actually know the real reason?? Many actresses gets very insecure about their profession and have claimed that they cannot defend it! Nia sharma, deepika padukone and tapsee panu r few who stated that!

Her wanting to help everyone, keep everyone happy, take part in family decisions, want of bieng loved and cared by everyone is very very natural for every newly wedded indian woman! For me it was not that relatable as i am not married but my mother who is a workoholic, a working woman who is literally obsessed with her working self found these traits relatable and expkained me why...i was ok!

Naren is not the solo reason sona has been quitting job..she was always made to feel shitty about her profession even by suman and pari but that time she didn't say anything becaise it was only her but now her family is also getting affected! Naren's words triggered smthg in her and she thought about it and realised that so many things including that mahesh wouldn't have happened had she not been an actress! She feels its ger profession which is not letting ppl accept her that is y she took an impulsive decision!

And i don't support this decision at all but i can understand her and find her realistic!

And what char butchering?? I never found any! Pehle bhi sona used to silently take whatever suman or pari used to throw at her (hwr then family) and give it back to the outsiders and now also she most of the time silently takes whatever sippys (her now family ) throws at her and still give it vack to the outsiders!

She has been kind, loving, soft, giving and forgiving from the start of the show..and she continues to be like that now too! Then y aporeciation then and bashing now?🤔 i will tell u because she is certainly showing those traits towards characters that we as audience don't like..be it rohan, naren, pari, veena, nishi or whoever! But the fact is that we have seen how these chars r..how low they think of her or r using her or whatever because we as audience have been shown those dynamics but she as a character dosen't! She will surely don't know what ppl think about her in their mind, or how they talk about her behind ger back and all!

Criticise a character when needed..but always bieng ready with loaded guns is not right! Tmmrw's episode has not yet aired but i can bet she would be badhed again!

I have many many more points that i am way too lazy too type..if soneone would point out something..i would surely give my view!!

Well said...👏 I am hopeful that in these 3 months she will decide against quitting ..we must also understand that the problems she stated are very much practical ..and naren is not the only reason she may have decided to quit...what happened during pooja s suicide wasnt anything normal, it was a tough situation....her adoption news came out in the papers because she is related to sona....anything could have happened to pooja if her treatment was delayed ..sona is confident enough but not that much to step out of her comfort zone everytime...

Just a case in point , during silsila badalte rishton ka, dhrashti was badly abused on the social media for playing the other woman ..not just her , her in laws and husband were dragged and abused ..and she quits the serial after a while ..so like all professions , this one has its downsides too..like a doctor or a police officer ...sona knows how to deal with this constant media attention but she doesnt want her family to be troubled . It's as simple as that..still, I hope that in these 3 months she realizes that giving up on her profession is NOT the solution... .finding solution to the problem and making adjustments , when the husband is full supportive is the best message that they can give..

As.far as doing Intimate scenes go, married or unmarried ,I have read lots of real life cases where the actors choose not to do such scenes and it's a personal choice..I am glad sona did not term it as bad but she doesnt want to hurt naren .there have been so many clashes in the family n she is tying to settle them..therez nothing wrong in it imo..it isnt as simple as its seen..

Don't make this thread as Male lead versus Female lead.If you can't relate to Sona then you praise Male lead I have no problem. But don't waste your precious time by commenting about the character you don't like ,it's good for you only.

When did I make it male vs. Female ? I only mentioned in spite of being a female, I can relate to the Male lead better. Please stop seeing one character or actor against other. That doesn't mean people can jump on me and tell me to look on the positive side or stop watching the serial. No one can dictate others to do such things. I will watch the serial for whatever reason and I will comment too. You are free not to read posts that you don't agree with. But you (and others) can't tell people what to do or what not to do.

Exactly. There's no rule that everyone has to think the same way, like all the characters, find the positive side, praise their traits. This is a forum to express opinions. Different people have different opinions. If you don't agree with someone else's opinion that's your right. But it's no one's right to tell people not to comment/ what not to comment/ how to comment.

I gave dipika kakar as an example for the situation of Sona. This is open forum. Some people are making main threads and making fun of Sona character. That's why I make this thread after seeing lot of things from one and half months in this forum.

I am not saying that you don't express your disappointment on one character. In my thread also I mentioned that don't see all Sona do is wrong. Some people are criticizing Sona for every action.that's why I make this thread.
