Good speculation. She will have huge impact for sure but I am still rooting for Ananya to be smart and break the engagement herself. If she is true friend then she knows Rudra much better than anyone else.

True! Since Ananya is so intuitive.. I want her to realize why Rudra is suddenly interested in marrying her when he has been telling her very clearly that he doesn't love her..

About topic, yes looks like she's gonna play Rudra's ex gf.. m guessing a negative character

This can be an interesting addition to the show. We really need answers to this whole suspense filled past issue.
