Once she does that then you can attack her for it but what’s the point of talking about what if? Bashing someone for something you think they might do is just hilarious.
And she already opened her mouth, maybe people didn’t follow it as they live for bashing her but 3 days before she talked about those students in interviews already. Showing her face at the protest, her side is crystal clear, not opening her mouth one more time change nothing if she is physically there.I don’t know what more she is supposed to do to support them.

she was promoting all this time yet people was bashing her for not talking about it while promoting in Delhi now you are bashing her for talking about it while promoting as well. What’s the issue? How can she win exactly? Someone said “Deepika Mam they attacked people with acid the other day, yet you are doing promotion and not supporting these students.” Same people are now saying ”Deepika mam why are you supporting these students when doing promotions? Do you want to milk it?”

It makes no sense to me. Being cynical is okay but you have to make your mind. Either you want people to stand up, either you don’t. Few wokes on the internet applauding her will not stop the deluge of abuse she is receiving. All could have been avoided if she had simply put an IG story but then people will be like “Deepika mam being politically correct as usual”

The problem is people here are thinking Deepika has taken a stand and sided with JNU’s tukde tukde gang.

In reality, she went there only for her movie. She isn’t concerned about bhakts or tukde gang or their stand. She isn’t concerned about any violence or people dying, it’s just her movie and the buzz.

That’s why for me she is just an shallow opportunist who is trying to benefit from a chaos. For her, her movie bigger than her country and its affairs.
